Dr. Larry J Baylis

They will not do a sick visit. What kind of Doc will not help you when your sick. All they were concerned about was getting me tested for COVID. I was already tested. Very disappointed. I had to go to an urgent care.

He literally looked at my labs, told me I was very sick and walked out of the room without answering any of my questions or giving me a potential diagnosis or treatment plan! He is horrible!

some of my appointments have felt ‘rushed,’ and it sucks to have to come in for an appointment over stuff that doesn’t necessarily require one, but dr baylis has been consistently a very good doctor over the many years i have been going to him. he is very intelligent – when i was having mysterious neurological problems, he was the doctor who realized it was a rare medication side effect, while doctors at the hospital & the specialists who saw me had been useless. baylis seems to be highly respected in the local medical community whenever i mentioned him to other doctors. he’s a solid choice for a pcp in the clarkston area. some of my appointments have felt ‘rushed,’ and it sucks to have to come in for an appointment over stuff that doesn’t necessarily require one, but dr baylis has been consistently a very good doctor over the many years i have been going to … More

Hr said I needed to schedule a visit for each concern. He didn't even help with a single one of my health concerns or listen to me.

This guy is a wack. Told him about painful arthritis in handsand he literally says "Poor baby". That was it! Another time he said he was overwhelmed and didn't know how to treat me. HORRIBLE!

Larry Baylis should be ashamed of what this office has become. The absolutely HORRIBLE staff is this office's undoing. After trying to reach the doctor for a critical perscription refill, the staff said repeatedly that they would have the refill called in. This prescription says that it cannot be denied due to the potential endangerment to the patient. After multiple trips to the pharmacy, we discovered that the staff was lying to us and had not called it in. Now without a medicine we were told that we'd need to make an appointment and the earliest was over a month from now. When we called back to explain that the prescription notes that it must be filled until an appointment is scheduled, the staff member HUNG UP ON US! If harm comes to our patient, a lawsuit on every member of your office will be the least of your worries. Larry Baylis should be ashamed of what this office has become. I think he's great. I'm sorry to hear other people have had issues with the front office staff. I have not had those problems and think he's a great physician for my entire family.

Larry and his staff openly talk about their patients condition. His receptionist, while out shopping, recognized my EX-WIFE and told her personal information about me. (I actually got a call from his office after I complained). On several occasions my prescriptions wouldn't be called in for two or three days. During one visit I told the nurse that I had a personal issue I wanted to discuss with him and when he came into the room, with the door wide open, he spouted out, "So you're having problems with sex huh?" (Which had nothing to do with it.) I don't know if she told him that or he just assumed it, either way, he shouldn't have said it, especially with the door wide open. So if you would like to keep your medical condition private, I would recommend you don't go to this office and find another doctor. Since I've found another doctor I've had two surgeries for carpal tunnel, discovered arthritis in both hands, and been going to physical therapy for a back injury; all missed by him.

A knowledgeable and attentive family physician. I am very pleased to have made the move to Dr. Baylis for my primary care.

The most frustrating part is iv been going here since I was born and yet NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!! even if it’s 8:10 and they open at 8. Guess I’ll just keep going to the place in the Kroger plaza at davisburg and Dixie.

Dr. Baylis was great, he took the time to talk to me and my son was comfortable with him!!!

Does not know how to fill out FMLA paperwork. After he incorrectly filled it out wrong 3 times, I went to another doctor.

For new patient, annual exam, the doctor spent a total of 15 minutes. A blood test, a urine test, a probe and done. No physical exam other than that. Experienced and knowledgeable, he suggested many things in those few minutes to look into to get a handle on the chronic history provided in the records. Those records, right in front of him, that he did not know he had until he asked for them. After that, a script and that was it. On the follow-up visit for the blood test, a total time with the doctor of 15 minutes and a wait time total of 1 hour. Read the results, offered nothing in the way of follow-up discussion on anything else, and done. Come back in 6 months. The doctor does not have the time, does not go into depth on anything, and asked no questions or had any interest in the specialists that have been engaged in the chronic issues for 4 years. Primary care physicians should at least have an interest in other professionals that are working with their patient. A patient relies on the Primary Care for guidance and advise. I've always had wonderful healthcare from Dr. Baylis.

Went to office monday with sick 15 year old called 9 am told would be 15 min. To return call 4 hours later called them got 5 pm with asst. Not doctor.tues.he went to school sick.wed.much worse called 915 am. 2.5 hours later didnt know who i was took to the clinic. Good dr. Horrible communication and sloppy staff. YOUR FIRED

Dr. Baylis is a wonderful doctor, he is a great listener. The staff is excellent, helpful, and kind. I never have to wait long which I really appreciate!

I recently transferred my teenage daughter to Dr. Larry Baylis from a pediatrician. I am very happy with him and his staff. He took plenty of time for her first visit with a physical and forwarded test results.
