A few months ago Dr. Kelley performed a delicate mohs procedure on my lower eyelid . She was referred to me by my plastic surgeon at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute .I’m happy to say that the results exceeded my expectations. Just recently I called on Dr. Kelley to see if she could refer me to a plastic surgeon to handle another matter for me .After Dr. Kelley referred the Doctor, Suzanne ,her practice mgr , took over and forwarded my new reports to the new Dr. ,set up the new app for me ,coordinated a few hotel choices and then recommended a few good restaurants to try because I live 4 hrs away . In all my years ,I’ve never had anyone go to this much effort to make sure all my needs were met. Thank you Dr Kelley and Suzanne. Dr. Kelley and her entire practice are outstanding. This was my fourth Mohs surgery (the first with Dr. Kelley) and, by far, the best appointment and outcome. She is an amazing surgeon with a great team.

Dr. Lara Kelly and her assistants are truely the A Team! She deftly handled my Moh surgery in one pass without complications. Her schedule coordinator had previously set me up with the plastic surgeon for a same day appointment to close the wound. The office staff successfully received my biopsy and photo from my dermatologist in Chicago in advance of it all. Such an excellent effort and outcome with several moving parts is such a rarity and joy in these times. My highest recommendation for Dr. K and her team. I feel very blessed that my Dermatologist’s practice referred me to Dr. Lara Kelley’s practice for the required MOHS surgery for an area on my left calf which I ignorantly failed to get medical attention for over a 2 year+ span of time. It was looking pretty bad from my point of view. Dr. Kelley accomplished what I called a “hole in one”, meaning it only took one “remarkably” quick surgery session to remove the cancerous area on 2/22/2022. Dr. Kelley explained that the single surgery session was more than likely because of the location on my leg. It appeared to be slow growing. Dr. Kelley and her entire staff are very, very good at what they do. Dr. Kelley is indeed a Rock Star and her “back up band”, her staff, are just as amazing (Thank’s Ka). This South Florida native learned a very important lesson. Don’t wait so long. …Don’t be a “chicken”! IT’S VIRTUALLY PAINLESS. Treat your skin right. Pay attention to it. …and of course, LISTEN TO YOUR SPOUSE! Skill, kindness, complete caring, consideration, total professionalism, understanding and even a Surgery “room with a view” is what this medical office is all about. This is the easiest review I have ever done, because there are no negatives and only positives to report. The office staff is terrific, the environment is great and the music is 1st class. I was very fortunate to be referred to Dr. Lara Kelley for my Mohs surgery. Although it was a very delicate procedure, I could not have been in better hands. Her front office staff was organized, professional and efficient and her nursing staff was very attentive and caring. Dr. Kelley herself is a master physician who provided excellent care as demonstrated by her surgical skills. She inspired confidence and I was at total ease in her hands. My visit to Dr Kelley was unexpectedly pleasant for the type of surgery I went there for. The complete staff was very friendly, made me feel like I was at home, no pain whatsoever and kept me informed of everything that was going on. I happen to take coumadin and there was no bleeding whatsoever. I would recommend Dr Kelley and her staff to anyone that requires skin cancer removal, this beats Radiation by leaps and bounds. The nurse was very professional and efficient as well as the manager Suzanne who helped me get my Gmail set up so I could write this glowing review of my experience at Dr Kelley's practice. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Kelley. When I was referred by my dermatologist to Dr. Kelley, her friendly and efficient staff scheduled an appointment for my Mohs surgery the next day and I was seen at the scheduled time of my appointment. Before undergoing the procedure, Dr.Kelley performed a very meticulous and thorough examination, carefully assessing my condition. She explained her diagnosis and the procedure that she was going to perform with great clarity which left me with a feeling of confidence in her skills and optimistic that I would have a positive outcome. Dr. Kelley and her surgical assistant performed the Mohs surgery without any complications and their instructions relating to aftercare were clear and concise. Dr. Kelly is an outstanding physician and surgeon with the professional, managerial and personal skills necessary to create a welcoming, reassuring and comfortable office atmosphere that is reflected in her excellent staff who follow her example. Dr. Kelley and her office staff are unwilling to respect and accommodate patients with special needs. IF you require a medical assistant or caregiver by your side during these long, complex visits, you are out of luck. Your caregiver will be outside the office, not even allowed in the waiting room. IF you experience any medical issues during treatment, your helper will still not be allowed in the office. My patient felt dismissed and ignored for the difficulties she was experiencing. This is inexcusable.

Efficient and great staff!

Dr. Kelley has performed several surgeries for my husband, and Suzanne Singer has been extremely helpful with the timely completion of insurance claim forms in every instance. She's a pleasure to work with every time!

I’ve been to Dr Kelley for Mohs surgery twice. Once in 2010 and once in 2021 and nothing has changed except now there is a much better view! She does the finest work, with minimal scarring, has a very calming presence, and an absolutely wonderful staff. I highly recommend Dr Kelley for her skill, knowledge, and professionalism. Thank you! I can’t say enough about how well I was treated by her as well as the staff. The only discomfort I had was the injections to numb the area. After that it went very well. No pain or any other problem. I highly recommend her for anyone who needs a growth removed. The after care instructions were easy and to the point. She tells you that if for any reason you have a question or concern to call the office and if it can’t be resolved then you will be brought back. I'm getting ready to have my third trip to Dr Lara Kelley. I just wish that I had gone to her for the first two efforts of removing skin cancer from my face. Her surgeries are not noticeable even the reconstruction of an ear. Some of the surgeries that I had previously to Dr Kelley left a big scar on my face. Thanks r Kelley

I was recommended to go to Dr Lara Kelley for Mohs surgery on my left ear for a basal cell removal. Dr. Kelley was wonderful. She took wonderful care of me and answered all of my questions. I felt very at ease having the surgery. Michelle her nurse was very comforting too. Dr. Kelley and Michelle made sure that I was very comfortable with the beginning to end of my surgery. The doctors staff is very friendly and professional. The office has a lovely atmosphere. I also had a lovely conversation with Suzanne the office manager. She was very lovely. I was telling Suzanne that everyone is so pleasant and nice. I highly recommend Dr Lara Kelley if you are in need of surgery. I was in caring hands. Thank You Best, Greg Nash

Two hours ago, I left the office of Dr. Kelley, were she performed a Mohs procedure on my scalp. The ease with which patients were reassured and cared for by she and her aide Julie was outstanding. The professionalism and caring can not be unnoticed. Her entire staff functions efficiently and cordially. If you need this procedure look no further.

Saw Dr. Kelley in Nov 2019 for squamous cell cancer on forearm. She advised treatment with a prescription topical for 30 days, then consider need for mohs surgery. The point is that she gets paid to cut, but recommended an alternative non-surgical path for now. That tells you about her. Further, she has superb education and a couple of decades of experience. Just right. I was treated previously with mohs surgery by Dr. Kelley.

I have had two procedures, with Dr Kelly. A melanoma removal, with 24 stitches, down my arm, which NO ONE , has ever noticed. The other surgery was heavy duty for me, having a tumor removed under my eye. Unpleasant it was, for me, yet with the combination of Dr Kelly and her assistant, they were very able to keep me relaxed with their serene atmosphere and combined passion for me, as their patient. Exceptional care provided for my mother. The treatment and waiting area were comfortable and the staff were attentive and paid special attention to make sure everything was taken care of from coffee, to bathrooms.
