Dr Fix lived up to her name! She “fixed” my headaches with the proper treatment, first try. She has a great bedside manner, made me feel very comfortable from the first visit. Her assistant is very attentive and sweet.

My experience with Dr. Fix and her entire staff has been very positive. I am not a FL resident, but have been coming to our condo in FL for the past 18 years each winter for 4 or 5 months. Even though I am not a resident, Dr. Fix has been very responsive to my problem which could be a very rare condition. She has treated me as if I've been a longtime patient...very caring, concerned, and determined to figure out what is going on. I feel fortunate that the FL podiatrist I saw sent me to Dr Fix. No waiting in office, great and friendly staff, no lunch phone outage.

I feel that Dr. Fix genuinely cares about my well-being. She has demonstrated, on more than one occasion, that she will extend her care beyond the parameters of the typical doctor- patient relationship. She also comes highly recommended among her peers. The front desk staff and her MAs need to learn bedside manners, they should be ashamed of themselves for how they handle patients trying to get some much needed help. Do better!!

In 2015 We went to Dr. Fix with a psychiatrist diagnoses of Alzheimer heavy anger needs to be institutionalized due to danger to herself and others. Dr Fix said no way we will work on it. She researched and prescribed different medications through the years and managed to keep calmed and able to deal with her decease and society. I find her to be agood caring physician who works hard for her patients. I couldn't see anyone doing a better job than Dr. Lara Fix

I have just learned from a MRI of my head that I have a serious condition & my Dr at Treasure Coast Primary Care referred me to Dr Fix! I called the office for an appt & was told because I'm a "new patient" the first available appt is 4 weeks away. I explained to the girl on the phone of my MRI results & it was ordered STAT & she became defensive & nasty and told me she can put me on a list & if she gets a cancellation for an earlier date she will call me. I am worried & scared of my issue (bent/twisted artery in my brain) my symptoms are severe & having to experience this 4 more weeks & a possible STROKE.. Im very concerned! Now after reading these reviews I'm questionable of this Dr's experience and her ethics and whether she will really have my best interest in mind. I am going to look for another Neurologist in Palm Beach who has a respectable reputation & who will understand the urgency of my condition that I've been told. The staff isnt very considerate or remorseful. Everytime I call they seem like they dont care to speak with me or hear what I have to say. Called the front desk a few months ago about a hospital visit and was terrified, they told me they'd talk to dr. Lara and they never got back with me. I had to call days later to see if I could get some help. Seen doctor Lara seemed like she listened to me very well, but after some blood work she pretty much told me I needed to go to some else because my problems wernt jn her field of help but yet they were mostly neurological issues. Been seeing Dr fix since 2017, i have hearing impaired, she made sure I understood what my problem was suffering from serizuze, she has been kind compassionate, caring ,her staff has been too. I have been a patient of Dr Fix's for 8 years, she has earned my complete trust and confidence. I have occasional exacerbations of underlying musculoskeletal conditions and when I call I am always seen right away for treatment. Her medical assistant Angelica knows me well by now, she responds quickly and gets me into the office usually the same day. She has a new member of the staff, Jordania, whom is a ray of sunshine. Spent years going to numerous doctors and no one could figure out what was wrong with me. After seeing Dr Fix and having the recommended testing done I finally have a diagnosis and am being properly treated. She is a blessing. She is very thorough & goes above and beyond for her patients.

If i could give a zero, i would. Terrible service. Never call back or follow through to insurance. Dr. Fix fixes nothing. Go elsewhere!!!!

Dr fix took care of my headaches after visiting other doctors and chiropractics that didn’t know was was wrong.

Dr. Fix was professional but her front office Is extremely unprofessional... would cancel appointments without setting up new dates, didn’t even call back. Had to go to the emergency room for medications because I couldn’t even get into see Dr. Fix. I’ve left messages with front office to talk with the Dr. and no word (5 months). I’m seeing another Nuerologist now.

Very unprofessional front desk staff. Had all required tests done and haven't received one result from her. I've called office several times and still nothing! So disappointing that I waited 3 weeks to get in with my daily dizziness and they don't have a care in ther world about their patients! Prime example of poor health care!!

Staff Issues ...I feel that the two ladies in her office just run interference for the Doctor either being A: over burden with too many patients or B: completely lax there and doing tests and appointments on their own time without any regaurds to the patients feelings and or families in a timley fashion. Been over a month of running around doing tests for my mother who we are all very concerned about her health and when I ask questions they blow me off for days then call back with vauge answers or purposely don't pick up my calls and when I tried to make an appointment to get some answers from the Doctor herself "She's out of towm for buisness" people know when they are being brushed off and I made them all aware that I had family flying in from out of town that would like speak with Doctor Fix so this run around is taxing enough let alone being flat out lied to... If things do not rapidly change there a bad review is the least of their worries. What an amazing doctor! She is knowledgeable and personable.

Had a medication problem and Angelica (Dr. Fix's Asst) was able to handle the matter very fast and efficiently. Many thanks!

Very knowledgeable and caring.

Her office staff was kind and professional. They listened to my concerns and got my husband the earliest available appointment due to the severity of his symptoms. Dr Fix, herself, listened, took an appropriate amount of time and answered all our questions. Didn’t feel rushed. Most importantly, we feel like we’re making steps towards an accurate diagnosis! Very grateful that Dr Fix is as wonderful as her reputation among my friends who work at the hospital!!

The staff is very unprofessional and abrupt. I will be looking for another doctor if this continues. Several calls placed and they do not return calls.

Dr. Fix took the time to listen to my needs. I have been struggling with migraines for years and finally received help when I was treated by Dr. Fix. It’s obvious that she truly cares about her patients, is passionate about her field, and is committed to get the best results for her patients. I would trust her and recommend her to anyone that I care about.

Love her very thorough. They even take you early.

I have been a patient of Dr Fix for many years. Each visit I’ve been seen promptly and she is consistently pleasant. Dr Fix has helped me with my neurological problems and is always on top of the latest research and treatments. I highly recommend Dr Fix for anyone with neurological ailments.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr. Fix is a horrible doctor and her office personnel are also awful. They are rude, disrespectful and do not return calls or answer the phones at all half the time. I came in with nerve damage caused by the school I was attending. I was told that even though the numbness and weakness happened after an accident caused by the instructor of said school, it must be from a pre existing condition that I had. Said condition was causing me no issues prior to the accident. So to suggest that my condition was suddenly worsening seemed very convenient for her and the school she works with. She is a disgusting vile human being and is in my opinion working with the school -- along with her husband (who is the program director), to scam people. Can't say much about the Dr. as I only met her once but I wasn't impressed. My husband was referred to her after suffering a stroke and she spent a whole 15 minutes with him if we were lucky. My issue, and the reason I requested a referral to another Neurologist, is with her staff. At our first visit we made another appointment for 6 months...which seemed a log time for a recent stroke patient but what do I know? In the month of May I left 3 messages for her assistant. 2 weeks after the 1st message I finally got a call back with a promise to set up a driving assessment for my husband...3 weeks later, crickets. I left 2 more messages for her assistant and to this day no response. I then called to see if we could move his 6 month appointment up so we could get in sooner and I was told he didn't have a scheduled appointment...since I was looking at the card they gave us when the appointment was made I was a little surprised. The next time they could get him in was a month later. .that's when I decided it was time to change Dr's. She may be okay but her staff is a direct reflection on her and if they don't appear to care about their patients I have to assume she doesn't either. Dr. Fix is an amazing doctor. I’ve been experiencing little seizures for the past few months. She worked with me to help my condition, she gave me the right treatment and i’ve never been better! Her staff is so wonderfully nice and considerate, while I walked up to the counter they smiled and took care of me. This office is a great place!

Two copayments wasted, Drug I asked to inquire about was ignored although told that she would. Neurological problems hard, diseases devastating yet she is totally removed. Her staff awful and do not return calls. Her random assessment WRONG

We can't recommend Dr. Fix highly enough! She is so professional, kind and compassionate. She takes time to listen and is updated on drug developments and nutritional ideas!!

Dr. Fix is by far one of the best physicians I have had the pleasure of seeing. She was not rushing through my appointment and when she came in to see me she already knew my background (she reviewed my chart before coming in!?) and I did not feel like I was just repeating myself over again. I will definitely continue to follow up with her and am excited to have found such a great doctor! The staff was friendly as well.

Staff is very unfriendly when speaking with them on the phone. Dr. Fix cancels appointments the day of, after receiving confirmation and then staff tries to bully you into doing what they want you to do.

This is the most unprofessional office staff that I've ever dealt with. I called once a day for three days in a row to get brain MRI results and never received a call back. I finally went to the imaging location myself and picked up the results. Then when I called to ask questions about the results and what the next steps should be I was passed around from one extension to the other, left yet a fourth message and was not called back until I went to the primary care Dr. and complained.

My mother who is 89 years old and in severe pain on a daily basis had to wait 10 days for the doctors office to confirm the diagnosis. They had the blood test results 3 days after her visit. No one returned her numerous calls. I finally got hold of her nurse and explained the situation about my mom and her husband who is dying from stage 4 cancer. Her excuse was the doctor was to busy and she would see what can done. Two days later the nurse got back to my mother.

EMG had the test done severe nerve damage stated to increase Lyrica and call her after week end I called and called it was at the piont of I could not walk 3rd day called asking for help was told will call me back never called back again pain to much was told need to see pain management asked if I could get anything to help with pain , no call back went to office end of week and waited in office and no one saw me or talked to me Docter fix does not care I was treated worce than garbage

I found another neurologist in town who was able to fix what dr fix could not fix..
