Told them I had a short window for the appointment, they assured me it was fine. Filled out all forms before arriving (twice because they lost them initially). Got there and waited 40 minutes in my underwear. Ultimately had to leave before the appointment. Will not be going back.

(please read the below before judging) My visit was good but the doctor didn’t explain to patient clearly that there was an extra cost coming from another provider, so I ended up receiving an unrecognized bill, leaving me confused. The lack of transparency in regards to billing and insurance is really bad in the US but I understand this is a whole systemic problem and is not any doctors fault per se. I waited for over 40 minutes past my appointment time just for Dr. Haimovic to come in, briefly glance at my hand (where i am having a skin problem), and write a generic prescription in less than 60 seconds then she was out the door. Offered no explanation for why I might be having problems or how long treatment could take. Cost me a $50 copay, a $15 prescription, and my skin problem is still persistent.. Too many dermatologists in NYC to have to put up with this kind of disrespect. Amazing medical care and an office to match. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Dr. Haimovic’s attention to detail is impeccable. I went to Dr. Haimovic for a routine body scan and she found an abnormal mole on my thigh. I was visibly nervous from the experience and she did an incredible job at explaining what she thought it was and what the next steps should be. We decided to remove it on the spot and have it biopsied immediately. Days later the results came in and she was on vacation, but she took it upon herself to call me (from wherever she was) and deliver the results personally. It was a gesture I really appreciated and one that you don’t see that often. I have recommended Dr. Haimovic to many people and I will continue to see her for years to come. Wish that all doctors (or most any doctor) had the same level of expertise and operated with the same level of care.

THE BEST dermatologist in NYC. Dr. Adele Haimovic has great bedside manner, she really listens to you and immediately figures out the problem. I used to suffer from severe hormonal acne around my chin and jaw area, but as soon as I met her, my skin began to clear!! The receptionists and the staffs there are really friendly and nice too.

I highly recommend Dr. Brown. He performed a Moh's procedure in a highly visible place on my cheek. I was very nervous. But Dr. Brown was fantastic. As a Native New Yorker I have seen quite a few Dermatologists over the years. My search was over In 2006 when I started seeing Lance H. Brown. He is the most knowledgable and gifted Dermatologist I have ever seen. He has solved numerous skin issues over the years as well has done amazing cosmetic work on my wife. My wife feels more confident because she knows he is always willing and able to keep her skin beautiful and healthy. My favorite story was when I had an accident and tore the bridge of my nose open. We considered the ER but first I called his office. He insisted on rushing me in an not to let anyone else stitch me. He stayed and waited for me and stitched me up with surgical precision. It is now 4 years later and I can not see any trace of a slice across my nose. As a Native New Yorker I have seen quite a few Dermatologists over the years. By far the best Dermatologist. I see Dr. Brown for cosmetic procedures and I am beyond thrilled. The only Dr. that can get it right the first time.

Dr. Brown is an A+ dermatologist. He takes his time with his patients and makes sure they understand everything. My daughter had a skin condition, which he was able to treat right away. He and his staff were very kind and courteous. I highly recommended him!
