This doctor prescribes medication that lines her pockets and provides the largest amount of profit to her practice, regardless of appropriateness and accuracy of diagnosis. She is a very knowledgeable Doctor. I have had to wait to see her and she is worth it in my opinion. Been with her since late 2016/ early 2017 after seeing 2 previous rheumatologist doctors with out any real essence. She is not dismissive by any means. It is hard to find a worth while doctor or "keep". She is just that, a keeper!

She is wonderful, you don't feel rushed. she is definitely worth waiting for. Her new office and staff are great her wait time is minimal.

The receptionist is incredibly rude and hung up on me. She is very abrupt on the phone. When I questioned when I would hear back from the Dr, she said, "when she calls you back". I did inform her that I thought she was being rude (did not raise my voice nor act unprofessionally in any way). She hung up on me. When I attempted to call back, she hung up on me eight times without my being able to even speak. The office did not submit the correct prescription to my insurance. I was calling to ask about that after a 2 week wait. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. When you are dealing with people who suffer from chronic disease, a basic amount of empathy and professionalism should be a minimum requirement to be in that role. The wait times tend to run long for your appointments and two weeks is a long time to wait when you are not feeling well; only to find out the wrong medication was submitted to your specialty pharmacy further delaying the process. I saw the Doctor the first time and she ordered x-rays and blood tests which I had completed as she ordered. I waited 2 months for the follow up appointment, which was scheduled to get the results of those tests. That appointment was for January. In the meantime, she moved her office and joined with NW Hospital medical group. I received a phone call from some medical service before my scheduled appointment that she could not honor my January appointment, and the soonest she could see me was MAY. At that point I drove to her new office and talked to the nurse. I explained to them that I could not wait 4 more months for my results, nor should I have to. The nurse told me that they could not fit me anywhere, and I should take the May appointment, and then I should call every day to see if there is a cancellation. At that point I told them I wanted the test results and I am going elsewhere. To be so un-accommodating to a patient with an appointment in unbelievable. To assume that my schedule means nothing, and that I should call everyday to see if there was a cancellation is ludicrous. Dr. Ladonna Koziol is very knowledgeable and has always taken care of my issues whenever anything has flared up. She's very compassionate and caring. She also has referred me to excellent doctors for other issues. My only complaint is that is every appointment takes a really long time, between time spent in the waiting room and waiting in the examining room. A rare and exceptional experience. The office staff is friendly and professional, the attending nurse is knowledgeable and thorough and personal. Dr. Koziol spent over an hour with me on my first visit, explained protocol comprehensively and in a way that I could understand. She patiently answered all of my questions. I feel we ended our visit with a plan and a strategy that was patient-specific.

I had to wait 6 weeks to see her as a new patient but the wait time was worth it! She spent well over a hour on the initial visit and prescribed a medication combination that after day one I was no longer in pain. I had a flair up in my hip that the office got me in right away so I do understand be prepared to wait on your scheduled appointments. I would give her and her staff 10 stars!
