I highly recommend Dr. Bickel. Iâve suffered for years from carpal tunnel in both hands and then more recently, trigger thumb on both hands as well. Iâm very active and love pastimes such as motorcycling, tennis, boogie boarding, building interior and exterior design elements with wood and metal, etc. I was nervous about surgery, but Dr. Bickel did expert work and I feel like a new person, able to do all the things that used to cause my hand and arm to go numb. He is cool, calm and collected and gave me the confidence to go for it. My only regret is that I waited so long - so many years suffering when I could have been free of the curse of carpal tunnel. Iâm scheduling the surgery on my left shortly and Iâm confident that he will perform another little miracle.
I would highly recommend Dr. Bickel. It has been 17 years since my carpectomy surgery and and I have full function and no pain.

My husband had a thumb trauma injury commonly referred to as 'gamekeeper's thumb' where the entire thumb tendon was torn and disconnected. Dr. Bickel did his surgery and gave excellent advice for post care to recover use of his hand. Everything was done excellently and without mishap. I believe he is a gifted surgeon and would have no worries for hand surgery with him.
