Dr. Kwanghoon Han

Excellent physician, very knowledgeable about highly complex and elusive rheumatoid diseases, and best rheumatologist I’ve ever had. He diagnosed me when everyone else seemed confused. Now, I’m being treated … long haul, but already better after 9 mos. I am very thankful for him and UWMC.

9 months ago Dr.Han took great care of her.

At this time I give him a 5 out of 5. We are still trying to narrow down the possible diseases. He is very concerned, and takes time to seek out our opinions with ailments, and he explains things well. My case is a tough one and he show more interest / stamina than most. We are glad he is our Dr. Bert & Tammi

My relationship with Dr. Kwanghoon Han began October 2016. He gave me a diagnosis of two incurable conditions, but is unwilling to provide written medical reasoning for diagnosis, states chart notes is enough, chart notes reflect "assessment" not "diagnosis". He recommends specialists, yet not reflected in chart notes or process the referrals. He isn't prepared, each appointment is as if its the first. He dismissed me without a medical plan or strategy, feel disrespected and discounted.

I'm so discouraged. I came to this clinic hoping for answers/education on my newly diagnoses Rheumatoid Arthritis. What should I expect? Why am I in increasing pain? What should I do about my knees when they hurt so bad I can hardly walk? Can you give me any information on the medications available and what I should expect? I traveled all day, thinking that by going to UW I would be starting with the best. I guess I will have to look for a nearby physician, I really need some answers.

I've been suffering with painful knees for many years, and I feel Dr. Han is the best (of many) doctors I have dealt with. He seems very knowlegible and sincere for what we say, and I never get the feeling that he has to rush to his next patient. His medical suggestions have been just right for me.

My primary doctor referred me to Dr. Han & I had excruciating pain & barely able to walk & barely getting through a day due to my pain which had affected the joints in my knees. Dr. Han recommended that I start Enbrel injections. With a little fear & anticipation I started taking Enbrel. I had my first injection and giving me back quality of life in two month.

Dr. Han is pleasant, punctual, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He diagnosed and treated my inflammatory arthritis, and he made the best possible care. Dr. Han is both compassionate and effective in dealing with chronic pain. He even diagnosed and referred me for other complaints not related to rheumatology. Outstanding
