Dr. Kristin Bender is hands down one of the best Optometrists ever! Both of my young children have been seeing her since they were babies and the level of care and thoroughness of her exams are truly exceptional. I have worked in the industry as an optician for almost 19 years now and I still prefer to go to her for our eye care needs because of her genuine caring disposition and again high level of care. Ms Bender was very knowledgable and kind in dealing with us until I informed her that I was going to get my glasses elsewhere. All of a sudden she was distant and aloof. She mentioned to her front desk to give us a prescription and then turned her attention elsewhere. By elsewhere I mean behind the front desk to play with her dog and ignore that we were even there anymore. I asked her what type of dog it was 3 times before she heard me and answered and I was the only customer in there at the time. I noticed that there was no PD number on the Rx so I asked about it and was told that I would have to pay an additional amount for that information. Seems like someone wants in on the money that I am going to save buying my glasses online. I'm noticing that some doctors just provide this information when you pay them for an eye exam and others hold it hostage. Not a problem. I paid the money and now I have the information I needed but I just think that anyone who is going there for an eye exa

It's a pretty neat place to get glasses, even though it may take a while to get them in, their great quality!
