Everyone at the office, including Dr. Funk, was very nice and kind. Dr. Funk was reassuring, knowledgeable and calm. I went in for fibrocystic breast issues and she helped me understand more about the condition and how to be my healthiest self. I definitely recommend her to anyone feeling nervous or confused

I was referred to Dr. Funk by my PPO- OBGYN because I had a collection of breast cyst. I drove 50 miles to see her and it was totally worth it!. She found all my cyst and drained them all in 1 appointment. I had 5 cyst that I thought I was going to have to live with for the rest of my life because Kaiser wouldn't drain them when I was with them. Dr. Funk was extremely kind and very knowledgeable and made me feel like she knew me like a friend. I will definitely go back if I get any more cyst or have any further breast issues. I traveled from Colorado to California to have Dr. Funk perform my double mastectomy in 2015. She is an amazing doctor and person. The DIEP that the plastic surgeon did after the double mastectomy failed and he had to perform more surgery. Dr. Funk is such a caring person, that she came and saw me in the hospital many times throughout that ordeal. Dr. Funk continues to care for her patients even after her work is done. Dr. Funk has always been available through the years when questions have come up. Even years later during a routine screening, when a concern in my reconstructed breasts came up, she was readily available and immediately spoke with my Colorado Breast Doctors. Kristi, as she tells you to call her when you first meet her, is so down to earth and easy to talk to. Unlike many doctors who can be so scientific when they explain things, Kristi talks to you more like a trusted and knowledgeable friend. I drive almost 2 hours for my annual follow-up appointments with her because I have yet to find another doctor in my area who has as much compassion, and who I feel truly cares about me as a person. The Pink Lotus Breast Center staff was warm and friendly and put me at ease today when I visited for my first appointment. The office is organized and clean and inviting. I am very thankful to have been seen and evaluated by Dr. Funk. She explained her findings to me and did not rush the appointment. She is kind and professional and I have only good things to say about my time with her and my experience at the Pink Lotus Breast Center.

Dr. Funk is truly the very best in her field. She makes every single patient feel important & comfortable. She goes above & beyond to answer all questions. I feel incredibly fortunate to be in her care.

I found myself 3,000 miles from home, with a ballbearing like lump under my arm. A doctor friend of my son’s recommended that I see Dr.Funk. The first meeting was very professional and thorough! Step by step evaluations led to thorough diagnosis, reporting of results, and subsequent advice and plans. Dr.Funk operated on my breast to remove the lump and some lymph nodes shortly thereafter! Dr. Funk then referred me to a radiologist and an oncologist who corroborated what I had been told by her. I followed Dr.Funk’s advice and have just completed a course of radiation! I’m impressed by Dr. Funk’s knowledge and skills! She also put me at ease, is extremely friendly, and is an excellent surgeon! It turned out to be an excellent recommendation! I wholeheartedly recommend Dr.Funk for diagnosis, surgery, and continuing care.

I can’t say enough! From the moment I met her after being dx I knew immediately she was the dr I wanted to be with. She calmed my nerves, calmly explained everything and was extremely reassuring. I’m so blessed to have her on my team.

Went for my bi-annual exam and ultrasound with Kristi last week after having seen her as her patient for well over a decade. Pre married Dr Kristi Pado... prior to Funk and what I can tell you is that I am always reminded why I pay out of pocket (out of network) to see the best of the best. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Kristi Funk and I am a retired mammography technician! I had DCIS caught early and she made the experience very comfortable. When I went in for my 6 month check-up, she felt a tiny tiny lump which others could not feel including me. Turns out to be DCIS again. Had that removed and I am happy and healthy! Dr. Funk was personable and professional. I was very nervous, and she immediately put me at ease. She was diligent about contacting me, immediately with my test results. I met Dr. Kristi Funk 2 1/2 years ago when I was diagnosed with Stage 2A Breast Cancer. It's a pretty frightening experience to be told you have the BIG C, especially in one of your Breasts. But from the moment I met her, I felt totally safe, like I was in the right hands, LITERALLY. She completely laid out all of my choices and options for surgery and "savi- therapy" in a way that was easily understandable and educational. This helped to put me at ease, as I was a bit of a nervous wreck.. Her staff was also top notch and always made me feel as if I were a human being and not just a number. Dr. Funk is highly knowledgable, a consummate professional with a great bedside manner. She is also a highly skilled surgeon. After my surgery, I could barely see an incision scar. It was amazing! Since then, whenever I go into see Dr. Funk, it feels like I am seeing a new friend.

I have been seeing Dr. Funk for the past couple of years because the doctor I had been seeing for many years retired. She is an outstanding doctor and is extremely knowledgable and professional. She is kind and honest. She takes the time to listen to me and has a lovely bedside manner. She is respectful of my time and when she's doing an exam, she's very thorough and makes you feel like you are her only patient. She is the kind of doctor we should be so lucky to have. In a system full of medical groups and rushed appointments, it is so important to have medical professional who cares about her patients and her profession. If you are looking for a breast doctor, she's the one! And, she provides a superbill for your insurance provider.

I came to Dr. Funk after I had a minor complication from breast implant removal, from another doctor. I saw her 3 times over 2 months for needle aspirations. She was kind and gentle. She’s an amazing doctor and I would highly recommend her.

Love dr funk. She takes her time and really explains everything. The office is very clean and modern.

She’s personable, credible, highly capable & her knowledge, experience and surgical expertise will put you in the very BEST hands.
