Dr. Batra is the only psychiatrist I have seen that actually seems to care. He praises achievements. He makes me feel comfortable and that's so important. Update: I have been seeing Dr. Batra for 2 years now and I still have mental health issues, but they are so much better since seeing the doctor. I do have to leave messages for his office, but they always return my call. At first my appointments were monthly but as time went on, and my condition improved, the appointments are now every 6 weeks or so. I am behind on my payments, but they haven't mentioned it at all. They understand I pay as much as I can, when I can. I told the doctor I may have to move out of state, and he said he would be my doctor no matter where I moved. Dr. Batra met me when I had PTSD to go along with my (still) chronic depression. Let's just say I would not be writing this review without his knowledge and experience. I can't believe some have said he doesn't listen well. I've not had that problem.

Diagnosed me with “insanity”, I think he was projecting.

After a wait of 10 days I received a call that doctor is not taking new patients, the staff should be informed of this information before taking pt demographic and insurance info, very unprofessional on the drs behalf

He was extremely rude during the first appointment, wrote a nasty letter when I cancelled a second appointment, however I am glad that I didn’t get the chance to learn this later on and waste more money on him.

Due to COVIS telehealth visit. I was a new patient in FL. We reviewed all information, meds. Etc.

I see that there are several people that have had "horrible" experiences with Dr. Batra and his staff. I've been seeing him for 3 years now and haven't had any issue what so ever and I haven't heard any complaint by a single patient of his and some have been a patient of his for 10+ years. Very friendly and helping me alot to deal with anxiety and depression. Due was sick health problem 3 years in out hospital. And don't remember much r those 3 years and medicine withdrawals. Dr Batra help with all.I highly recommend Dr Batra

Horrible service from front staff. On hold well over 10 minutes. Incredibly rude.

BEWARE! State medical board investigating for medical insurance fraud! I was a patient 5yrs till recently I finally had ENOUGH! Mrs Batra is EVIL and doesn't even like the patients like we are less then human. She holds medically necessary medications over ur head and blackmails you! Demands u go to group weekly when dr and genie set me up for monthly! She let my medication prior authorization lapse even tho my insurance company contacted her. Her response after I went to pharmacy n was told I owed $600.00 meds were denied, "well I can't remember when everyone's authorizations expire" Umm ITS YOUR JOB SERIOUSLY! Plus, she tried charging me an extra $25.00 for the drug test my insurance pays for!! Said we'll we have to get something extra for our costs! THEH HAVE NO COATS WHEN IMSIRANCE OAYS FOR KT all!! SHE JS A GREEDY IN HUMAINE BLACKMAILING WOMAN WHO IS IN DEEP SEEP TROUBLE AND IS THE RWASON HER HUSBAND WILL BE LOOSING HIS CERTIFICATION TO PRESCRIBE SUBOXONE AS WELL AS CHARGED WITH MEDICAL BILLING FRAUD AS PER MY INSURANCE COMPANY WHO HAD FILED THE CLAIM AND COMPLAINT TO THE STATE! The office staff is so unorganized and rude. My calls were never returned and messages I left we're ignored. Dr. Batra doesn't care about his patients. He doesnt even listen to his patients and then writes yoh a whole slew of potent, dangerous, antipsychotic medications. When it came time to write my perscriptions they didn't even know what medications they had perscribed the month earlier They would ask me what I was taking AND I would have to tell them what meds they were perscribing me. He is also a greedy man. He charges $150 each appointment, and only writes enough meds for one month. After the month is up and the meds are gone you have to come back so he can get his $150 visit money again. The office staff is so unorganized and rude. Dr. Batra is the best in the area by far. He has given me my sleep back after years of insomnia. He and Mrs. Batra and Disney are polite and helpful. He saved my life. I recommend him to everyone who asks who I see. No wait or 5 minutes. Very soft spoken and teaches a healthy lifestyle. I have know him since 2006. He changed my life. Office staff is less than helpful. The doctor does not appreciate an educated patient.

My daughter started seeing Dr. Batra in 2009. She was nine. At the time, we were in an emergency situation and needed someone ASAP. All the other offices I called had waiting lists of 6-12 months. Dr. Batra's office told me the wait was 3 weeks, only call back and get us an appointment the following Saturday. Since that day almost 8 years ago, my daughter has done nothing but improve, and when she regresses, Dr. Batra does everything he can to get her back on track.

Horrible experience just trying to make an appointment with dr. Bhatra. I called for an appointment for my son, gave all my info, answered several questions. Was told that the doctor would review my sons situation and I'd receive a call back. Never did. I called again several days later, only to be told that the doctor has a question about whether previous meds worked for my son. I was told again it would be reviewed with the doctor and I'd get call back. Never did. I called again, inquiring about the appointment I needed for my son. Was on hold for 10 minutes, only to be told that the doctor is not accepting new patients SPECIFICALLY with ADHD. What an utter waste of time. What an incredibly backward doctors office. My 1st encounter with Dr Batra was at Baycare under involuntary hospitalization. He did try a number of things, and seemed compassionate enough but he never really did a thing to HELP my condition, I told him I got a bad reaction to a drug he continued to prescribe me and when I was at Baycare ordered it again. Thankfully in the US they cannot force meds so I refused. I asked him about euthanasia for psychological problems and he laughed it off. I find out that there are 4 countries where it is legal. Dr. Batra is a little tricky man, I got worse when I \was with him.

First review on GOOGLE is obviously a plant. PLEASE DO YOURSELF OR LOVED ONE A FAVOR and look up the REAL reviews on this "Doctor" I cringed when ever I saw a parent taking their child to him. Well equipped adults, able to defend themselves, walk out worse off than before they go in. PLEASE take a serious look on other sites for adults and children alike before making the mistake. Dr. Batra saved me from state hospital. He had faith in me and got me released from the locked hospital rooms. He is an advocate for children and a brilliant Doctor. God Bless him
