I am on day 2 recovering from my surgery ???? ????(yeah I literally had to post). This soft spoken, & warm heart man is very serious in what he does in helping ppl. 5 star doctor hands down, will post more on my recovery & give a better understanding on my review

A great experience with Doctor V., had two procedures done , one minor& one major surgery over 5 weeks... Staff was very professional and I referred a close friend to him already & he is on Doctor V. schedule for early Nov.

Dr. Venkatesh was able to help me with some standard colorectal issues. However, once they got more complex, it seemed he ran out of ideas and just kept telling me to consume fiber/fiber supplements. At this point I became frustrated with the care I was receiving, and felt he wasn't listening to my complaints or didn't believe the pain I was experiencing. I felt like I often had to do my own research and bring ideas and suggestions to him. Eventually, he ended up sending me elsewhere for treatment as my case was too complex. I appreciated that I was able to get into his office quickly, thought the wait was always quite long. Dr. Venkatesh was able to help me with some standard colorectal issues. Best Physician Ever!

I conducted my own research online for a C&R Surgeon and when another Specialist referred Dr. V, too, I decided to move forward w/an appt. The entire process was seamless from making the appt, appt availability, waiting room wait, exam, and discussion w/Dr. V, who has the kindest bed-side manner, feedback, detailed assessment of findings/solution(s). Since this initial appt, I already feel a drastic improvement re my quality of life and my road to complete recovery. Thank you, Dr. V (for everything). Dr. Venkatesh is “The Best” colorectal surgery specialist I met recently. Very caring and compassionate doctor. He gave me complete information about dealing with specific health issue. He is very receptive in giving time to answer any of questions and also explaining those to patient’s satisfaction. Very happy with Dr. Venkatesh & staff

When you have an appointment, be prepared to wait 1.5 hours past your appointment time. The doctor always overloads the appointments. Then they rush you out after waiting 2 hours.

Absolutely 0 social distancing going on in this office. Chairs are wall to wall with patients. They do not take temperatures. Staff does not wear masks nor do they require the patients to do so. Dr. was very lax in his medical assessment and recommendations as well and this was after an almost 2 hour wait.

If I could give 0 stars I Would. Doctor did not even go over the procedures that he was going to do. He was speaking very fast once he was explaining the situation, like he was in a rush to get out of there. The overall visit was very unpleasant plus the doctor’s lack of care over the patient. I tried to just explain my situation in the most honest way to one of the receptionists and they went completely defensive and cut me off. This was my PERSONAL experience. I just believe a good practitioner should explain what he is going to do to your body before hand. Would not recommend. If I could give 0 stars I Would. Dr. is good! However, the wait time is so long. Prepare to wait at least an hour and a half past your appointment time to see the Dr.

Front Office Staff ladies are compassionate and amazing ladies. Whomever handles scheduling was considerate and patient. Dr. Ventakash has an old school bedside manner and explains and listens. Only downside is the hour plus wait after appointment time, but its due to the care he shows each patient. Dr.Venkatesh is a great doctor, my surgery was scheduled immediate a day after the visit. That was my first surgery and one will feel confident in his space. Very soft spoken and highly concerned about patients health, you can feel it. One should understand and respect his time and keep in mind good doctors will be busy

I had a very large skin tag that needed to be removed. My GI doctor said it would need to be surgically removed, and recommended two Colon-Rectal surgeons. I chose Dr. Venkatesh. I am really glad I did. Dr. Venkatesh was able to remove the skin tag in his office. I also have have a chronic pilonidal cyst that I was told would need to be surgically removed as well since it had not healed after having been lanced several times. However, Dr. Venkatesh said the next time it flared up, he would open it up to see if it would heal from the inside out. I say all of this to indicate that Dr. Venkatesh takes conservative approaches and does not recommend surgery except as a last resort. I would not have known otherwise. He also took the time to explain in detail what I needed to do for the healing process. I did not feel rushed, and he answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Venkatesh if you have colon/rectal issues!!! His staff was also friendly and very professional!!

He doesn't explain your medical problem or discuss best options and outcomes. Basically, I left there with a piece of paper of exactly what I could have Googled online. Turns out that there was a lot of information that I should have been given to avoid damage and surgery. He seemed most interested in using a special medical tool to increase his billable charges.

Having a colon resection is scary, but EVERY time I had any contact with Dr. Venkatesh or his staff, they were kind, competent and compassionate. It made all the difference. :-)

This doctor is excellent, and the nicest Doctor. So is his staff. I had a great experience with him and I still see him. When I read a bad review from a patient who says he is worse, the patient has to be the problem. This doctor has a wonderful bed manners. He is so nice and he listens. Also he takes care of me when I need help with a problem. This man does not even raise his voice or has any mean streak. He is well educated and an excellent Doctor.

I met Dr. Venkatesh 3 years ago when I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Although I work in surgery at the same hospital he practices at, I had not met him prior to my diagnosis. He was the surgeon on call the day I was admitted from complications of the cancer. He performed emergency surgery on me for 6 hrs. He went above and beyond his call of duty and he did an EXCELLENT job. I have not had ANY pain or complications. He is fantastic and VERY compassionate. He is THE BEST colon surgeon by far

Dr. Venkatesh is a fantastic doctor who knows exactly what he's doing. He treats his patients with respect and dignity. As a 21-year-old, I never thought I'd be dealing with these types of issues, and I was beginning to feel insecure with my body because of said issues. both staff & doctor went out of their way to accommodate me as a new patient that was in a lot of pain/discomfort. I got lost & they stayed well past normal hours & even though the doctor was due in surgery, he did not rush through my appointment. awesome practice = highly recommend!!

Outstanding Physician-Very Calm & Understanding Individual

I was in a lot of pain last Friday & the office accommodated me after hours. Crystal went above & beyond for me, as did the doctor & rest of staff. The previous doctor I was seeing was doing nothing to determine the source of the pain. Dr. Venkatesh was much more thorough even though he needed to get to the hospital. I am already feeling a little bit better after months of suffering. I highly recommend this practice.

Going to a Colon & Rectal Doctor can be uncomfortable, but NOT with Dr. Venkatesh. he makes the appointment easy with his knowledge and expertise and wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. V to anyone needing to see a Colon & Rectal Doctor. Both my husband and I see Dr. V and have been grateful for his wisdom and care.
