I have seen Dr. Gonsai for a while now and he has helped me tremendously. Very friendly and very comfortable talking to him about any issues I may have. The receptionist is always friendly and helpful every time I call the office for whatever reason. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Gonsai to family

My experience with Dr. Gonsai has been very positive. He is available when needed, he is timely, you almost never have to wait. His knowledge of psychiatric medications has enhanced my life through better mental health. He understands substance use disorders and how they impact mental health and vice versa. An empathic man. He has helped me for five years

I often tell Dr. G that he "saved my life" -- as well as my wife's -- and even though he won't take credit and simply replies that I am, and have always been willing to put in the "work" -- he is a LARGE part of the reason I am happy, successful and able to live this life to its fullest. I look forward to the times I can speak with Dr. G, knowing that I will always leave the appointment better than when I entered. His staff is always polite, helpful and if you only take one thing away from this review, I hope it is this: Dr. G can and will "save your life" -- whatever that means to you -- if you are willing to do the work and walk the walk. Dr Gonsai truly listens to his patients and cares. He is kind and thorough. He’s extremely intelligent and has an extensive background in the addiction and Suboxone field as well.

One person who was able to take me into confidence that I will be fine. He knows what he is doing. Very kind human being. Definitely recommend meeting him. Also the women at the reception are so friendly and kind and they know you by name which I thought was something special :)

Doctor is very good takes plenty of time to evaluate you. He is understanding and up to date. Has a ear on the streets knows what is going on. Office is clean and I always get a reminder of my next appt.

One of the BEST Psychiatrists I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. He actually takes time out his probably (very busy) schedule and listens to your every need and thought. He likes to know whats going on in your life (job, relationships, school, etc) and it seems to me that he genuinely cares about his patients lives and quality of life. he is always ready to give me different suggestions to issues and problems that arise and very adaptive in trying to find the best solution. He is not afraid to prescribe a medication that he thinks will help his patient, despite what other doctors might have said in the past. Dr. Gonsai is a true professional. If it weren’t for him I probably wouldn’t have been able to sustain my recovery or have any happiness. He knew what was the matter with me, educated me and left it up to me to me to be responsible with my Meds and not be so afraid of them. He is all about following the Standards of Care and goes by the book. If you’re looking for someone to get over on or overprescribe meds, you have come to the wrong place. Both my husband and myself see Dr. Gonsai on a regular basis.Dr. Gonsai takes the time to educate his patients On medications and diagnosis. He empowers you to educate yourself as well. His prescribing habits are impeccable and there is no such thing as early refills he trusts you will make correct choices or he will refer you off to someone else.Dr Gonsai is a true professional and goes by the letter of the law.His ethics are spot on. Also his staff at the Milford office are professional.A+

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Gonsai to all of my family, friends, and patients'. He is an excellent clinician and truly cares about his patients' well-being. I am an RN, and I have been seen, myself, by a few psychiatrists in my early adult years for OCD and ADHD. I have never experienced the sincerity, trustworthiness, clinical expertise and professionalism that I have with Dr.Gonsai. I now live in FL, and have not found any psychiatrists' that even come close to his expertise and knowledge.
