I wish I had read the reviews before I drove this long distance and saw this doctor for my kid's G.I. symptoms. She is not a terrible doctor, but her bedside manners are shocking. Talks in EXTREMELY condescending tone, offers unsolicited advice about mental health and domestic issues (and at the end she says she has a 14 year old herself like this justifies it), suggests medicating for my kid's ADHD like I am an idiot who is not aware that medication is an option (even after I told her I don't want to medicate). She didn't say anything new that our pediatrician hadn't said before, but that is not what is upsetting me. It is that she interrupted me very rudely and attempted to correct my behavior in front of my child just because I was telling her:"See? I told you so, even the doctor is advising that". I am really upset and will not be returning to see her and will post this review everywhere for patients to see. She ruined my day and even my child is upset.

Dr. Gorla is THE Worst Doctor ever for kids. Rude, impatient is the experience we as family received from her.

Excellent doctor, she literally saved my son from Dr Berman who almost killed my son. Luckily she was on call at the ER and saved him and she’s been my sons doctor ever since. She’s a Godsend. Very sharp and organized. Whenever needed we call her and within a few hours we get a response back. Amazing

Waste of time and waste of $380. Dr. Gorla came in with cleavage and a messy bun and asked me how old I was. When she learned I was younger than her, she didn't care what I had to say about my daughter. My infant daughter was in the 1st percentile for weight because she would projectile vomit 10-20 times per feeding. I tried telling Dr. Gorla about some of her other symptoms, but she cut me off many times throughout the appointment to tell me what she needs (a laxative, apparently, even though she poops everyday and the same antacid her pediatrician took her off of because it wasn't working but he's wrong because he isn't a specialist.) When I spoke, she interrupted me with things completely unrelated to what I was saying. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor in my life.

She did not listen or offer any other action or help for our daughters problems. Don't waste your time, you will end up just having to go see another doctor for help. She's very pleased with herself.

Dr. Gorla is very professional and works well with children. She was very thorough in explaining the cause and treatment. Her medical knowledge is clear and excellent. The staff working under Dr. Gorla are helpful, and very nice. Highly recommend Dr. Gorla, and her team.

I'd like to post an update from my 12/12/17 review. I took my son to a different GI doc, and his diagnosis was post-infectious gastroparesis. He's doing much better now. It's sad that Dr. Gorla wouldn't listen to me or my son. She decided that she was right, and wasn't going to consider any other diagnosis. Poor, Poor doctor.

On July 29th,2017 we had an appointment with Dr. Gorla, before that I called, and I told the staff that I will not be coming with my baby, because she was already under super stress. After waiting one hour for her to show up, she refused to come and to tell us what are the results from the EDG. No one from the reception asked us where is the baby. We had to discuss her results and she to advise us what to do next! I believe all doctors are giving oath!?! She just refused and left!
