Dr Young is wonderful! She’s caring, attentive, informative, wonderful. She took such good care of my husband when he broke his arm. I would recommend her to anyone!!

Dr Young and her team were fantastic. She was compassionate, gentle, and patient. I was traveling from CT to SC and had to be squeezed in for surgery after a very bad fall and unstable broken wrist in multiple places. The team kept me informed and kept me as comfortable as possible. She explained her three options for treatment clearly and in plain English. I have had 3 surgeries in 2 years by Dr. Young. I had 2 Triger Thumb surgeries, my left and right thumb and also had tendon surgery (de Quervain). Dr. Young is very knowledgeable, excellent surgeon, very caring, and compasionate. After surgeries, I am pain free and can open a bottle if water as well as pain free when writing. Dr. Kimberly Young is awesome. I should know since I am a repeat customer. 5 years ago she repaired my broken wrist. This year she fixed my badly shattered elbow. No need to say more Heide Klein

I am 73 years old broke my wrist Dr Kimberly Young is the best orthopedic she knows what she's doing . Her staff and medical staff I give a 1 million percent go to this doctor wonderful they were my angels ????

Dr. Young has taken care of me at Roper St. Francis Mt. Pleasant ER and at her office in Summerville. Each time Dr. Young has provided exceptional care. She is my hand surgeon of choice and highly recommended.

She is an amazing, excellent bedside manner and truly compassionate about her patients well being and healing. I would recommend her to anyone!! Thank you for taking care of my husband. He has had a long stressful and debilitating injury and 3rd time is a charm!!!

2 days after visiting Urgent Care ( they gave me stitches, a splint, and an urgent referral for Orthopedics ) for a laceration on my hand. I was also told by Urgent care to return in 2 weeks to get the stitches removed. I had my office visit with Dr. Young today, I sat in the waiting room for almost an hour before getting called back to the exam room, once called back my stitches and splint that I had for 2 days were removed (medical reason given "it's already healed" come back if your finger develops a droop) and then promptly replaced by coban tape only (no gauze/bandage for the bleeding). Needless to say I left this office by the time I reached the 1st floor my coban was soaked with blood. Worst bedside Manners ever! I was shamed by her because I was post stroke after three months, and in a wheelchair, she made me feel belittled! Didn’t seem to have any empathy with my finger that had been messed up for 8 weeks. MRI , showed severe damage and offered nothing? However the staff was very pleasant and sympathetic with my condition after having a stroke and my finger in extreme pain. Offered nothing to help me I left in tears both times after my appointment. There are far more qualified orthopedic specialists in Charleston! My recommendation is to not go to her! Worst bedside Manners ever! Dr. Young is awesome! She is very sympathetic to your needs, as a patient. She also has a great sense of humor, which puts you at ease. I would recommend her expertise any day of the week!

Doctor Young is impossibly Beautiful and a superb surgeon.

Dr. Young is excellent. I had Dupuytrens Contracture , pinky finger ,40% bent. I requested the procedure with Xiaflex injection vs. surgery. She took the time to read my two page medical report & answered questions. A previous arrogant hand surgeon in Savannah, would not even read the report. I had the procedure done 5 years ago & that Dr., in FL got the finger pretty straight. Well , Dr., Young did two things differently in the procedure then my previous Dr., & the finger is perfectly straight, wow. Good job! I hope the finger stays straight a very long time because DP often comes back & the shots are not pleasant. Thank you Dr. Gene

I never felt so relaxed and Dr. Young and her staff are great. Dr. Young explains everything in detail I had Hand and elbow surgery and everything went fine I was scared at first but Dr Young made me feel so Comfortable and put me at ease and thank God Im better now I can use my hand and my elbow ????????

I have Dupetrens Contracture. Dr. Kim Young is Awesome! After having a prior Surgeon work on my DC. Dr. Kim worked on me and saved my hand. I was so impressed by the amount of time she first spent with me in our consultation. Then on the day of surgery I mentioned to her that I had also been having some pain in my wrist of hand she was going to be operating on. After my DC surgery. She told me not only did we meet "goal" with the DC surgery but she also took care of that pain I had been feeling in my wrist. She tackled a case of Carpal tunnel also. I had to share this with everyone mainly because I am a licensed Hairdresser of 33 years. I was completely @ Dr. Kim,s mercy and she delivered. In our consultation I could allow Dr.Kim to fix my DC problem or I could have in the next few years consider SSI. I chose to be operated on. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Kim Young. I'm lucky my Licenced practitioner told me about her. I highly recommend Dr.Kim Young. She knows what she is doing! Thanks Dr. Kim. You save my hand and most of all my passion for my career! Straight forward, and cares about her patients life after treaments. A nice staff.

I was referred to Dr. Young because of a tendon issue that was causing discomfort. I found the support staff to be extremely welcoming. Dr. Young determined the source of my problem and just a few hours after I am pain free. Dr. Young is a wonderful physician.

I was very satisfied with my surgery done at the Folly Road location. The facilities were in excellent shape and the staff were excellent. The doctors were excellent I am very hard to please and I have zero complaints. Good job.

I am a sculptor and when I first went to Dr Carney Young I had given up hope that I could ever work with metal again. A year after surgery I was back at it, using my (right) hand fully. I forget that I ever had surgery and that there is piece of metal in my wrist. I don't even have a scar to show people! She saved my career. A true artist!
