Dr. Kimberly Parks

I have been seeing the same psychiatrist for 19 years and was very nervous about transitioning to a new provider, however, Dr. Parks has a wonderful bedside manner. She made certain to include me in all decision making and focused on providing me with information necessary to make informed decisions regarding my health and my needs. I have never felt so empowered by a psychiatrist. The entire experience was deeply reassuring to me. The doctor treated me like a teammate throughout the process and I am confident in transitioning to her care. I would absolutely recommend her to others and regret not having sought her, or someone like her, out sooner. I feel truly optimistic about the ability to achieve to optimal outcome. Additionally the facility offers numerous types of therapy beyond medication, including Cognitive-Behavioral-Therapy, which I am eager to pursue.
