Dr. Lam was an absolute angel! She was extremely friendly and patient, eager to humor my pointless small talk, and overall very knowledgeable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Target Optical in Wheaton!

This was my second time seeing Dr. Lam. She is very welcoming. She actually reviews your file before working with with you! She referred to me being an educator, without me reminding her. She also suggested a more economical alternative to my current contact brand. She explained the difference and let me know I can change back if I wasn’t satisfied. I definitely appreciated that! Dr. Lam was so nice and patient with our 5 year old. Great visit.
There was literally no wait time for me. I was checked in immediately. Dr Kien Lam was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I like the fact that there are so many eyewear options from designer to basic. I had a great experience!
Dr. Lam was very personable and informative. She offered her opinions and engaged with me thoroughly. She also informed me of my insurance updates and any options I had. She also asked me throughout my appt if I had any questions for her. Very helpful, friendly and kind.

First eye doctor to determine I had astigmatism! Very thorough and gave me advice on all my concerns. I can’t wait to get my glasses. So many frames to choose from. That was the hardest part!
Dr. Lam was extremely patient and kind with my father who has Parkinson’s and dementia. Having seen many different doctors in different specialties with my father’s complicated medical history, we consider ourselves fortunate whenever we find any doctor with excellent bedside manner, as they seem to be rare.
