Khashayar Dashtipour

This is a review on behalf of my mom who’s a patient. Dr. Doesn’t hear her out at all and only does what he wants! Doesn’t listen to her needs at all. She dreads his appts because of how rude he is and disrespectful. He only wants his $$$, doesn’t care about his patients at all it seems.

We were referred to this doctor by a neurologist that we regarded quite highly. Enough that we had been traveling over 90 miles to the UCLA movement disorder clinic to see him. Our first visit was with Dr. Dashtipour was a very pleasant st as rting eith the staff. The doctor was thorough and took his time with the history. The exam was comprehensive and highly competent. He gave insights and suggestions for possible changes. He also provided samples of a new medication he had suggested. Doesn’t care about the patient only about his kickbacks ! $730,000. Worth! Look it up! He tried to prescribe my dad something that he has had a horrible past with again and again. He didn’t even listen to his highly educated wife who speaks five different languages but instead He consistently pushed for Raytary and Cymbalta which both had adverse affects including hospitalization .. rotten teeth. This doctor was recommended to me by a family member. We both found him to be exceptionally excellent in his field and to be a compassionate caregiver.

I made an appt. waited for 2 months that's when his got available spot. I made it Nov. 2018, they schedule me on Feb. 25, 2019 @ 2pm. I arrived at the facility on time, the front desk ask me if I have any appointment I said yes with Dr. Dashtipour, the lady at the front says Dr. Dastipour is not here today. I was really disappointed in then they told me that they will re-schedule in the available date is on May. can you believed that? they cancelled my appt, w/o calling me. So an prof.

This is not a review of Dr. Dashtipour, instead it's a review of his staff. All i have to say they portray themselves to be very incapable of any organization and care of handling medical patient insurance cards. My mother, an elderly woman, was referred to this office for jaw pain. A staff member took her insurance cards and forgot to give them back to her. A couple of days later they claim to have mailed the cards back to her, which she never received. When I called to verify the mailing address they sent the cards to, they were unable to confirm. It has been over three weeks now and my mother has to go through the painful process of ordering new card cards. They have not taken any responsibility nor did they apologize for a simple mistake. All they had to do was send the cards certified as they are considered a personal medical document. Really disappointing!! This is not a review of Dr. Dashtipour, instead it's a review of his staff. He is always late, last time I had to wait for almost 90 min to be seen by him. He did not even apologize! I changed my doctor and I am very happy!
