Myself working in a completely different doctors office, with several doctors in the practice. We do not have one doctor as good as Dr. Waldrop! I know completely separate but I would just like to say. I recommend Dr. Kevin Waldrop and his staff all the way! He is so friendly, very professional and goes beyond expectations! Today I drove 30 miles to see Dr. Waldrop. Dr. Waldrop is very professional, knowledgeable, and at the same time shows empathy to your concerns. His staff is awesome ! Today was my 1st visit and I will definitely return.

Found Dr.Waldrop for my mom . She loved his personality, professionalism and his staff. That made me happy to know she was happy. We would highly recommend.

I consulted three professionals prior to scheduling a long overdue foot surgery with Dr Waldrop. The main reason I chose Dr Waldrop was because of his honesty and “down to earth” character - professionally I know and probably personally as well. He relayed much needed information to me prior to surgery that the other two failed to do. I believe he simply tells it as it is (good, bad or otherwise)... no “prettying it up” and/ or neglecting to inform patients of pertinent information- even when that information may not be what the patient “wants” to hear. To me, that illustrates respect. He is kind, gentle and seemingly genuine. He CAN be almost funny at times as well. The staff there are welcoming, also down to earth and responsive to the needs of patients. I am very pleased with my decision to go with him and his surgical skills and knowledge are impressive. I am still recovering from the foot surgery and am not the most patient patient by any means I’m sure. He remains a straight shooter and somehow continues to put up with and deal effectively with me. I tell just about anyone who will listen how impressed I am with him, his staff and business. Great office and doctor was very knowledgeable. Helped with my fascia pain.

I had 3 visits over several months to remove my large toenail from my left foot due to an infection that had badly deteriorated the nail. Dr Waldrop communicated the issue and what he recommended to address it and I found the experience a smooth one. I would recommend this Podiatrist in the Trussville area.

Wonderful Dr and staff! Dr Waldrop has a great bedside manner and is very intelligent and takes his time with his patients, which I greatly appreciate. My first time needing a podiatrist and I’m glad I went with him, he is great. I appreciated him sitting down with me and going over preop paperwork with me. Usually, it is a medical assistant that does that and while that is fine, it really meant a lot that the Dr went over it with me himself and made sure I understood everything and gave me two numbers to call if I need to get in touch if the office was closed. Dr. Waldrop took the words right out of my mouth about my foot pain from RA and Planter-Fasciitis. Maybe he can help me, I do know he will try his best and look at all options. RA is a condition that is very hard to fight.

I came to Dr. Waldrop for plantar warts. I had been to numerous podiatrists and dermatologists that had helped but not cured the situation. Dr. Waldrop recommended an acid treatment that would cure it. However, it would be painful for a day or two after treatment. After all I had been through, it was worth the try. Four treatments later, I was wart free. A year later, I am still wart free. He was my miracle doctor for this condition.

Very disrespectful towards patients. Today I terminated my patient care for the way I was treated by Dr. Waldrop regarding FMLA paperwork and leave questions. I had issues reaching the office manager on the phone- even after leaving messages and received no response that my paperwork was received, until I personally reached out to them. The doctor wrote me an email himself and stated, " that calling and emailing only slows down the process." So, what is the proper protocol for staff not returning your calls or follow up times that they agreed to? Am I just a number to them? It seems so. In the email he also stated that, " other offices in town charge for extra paperwork" and that "if there's a problem that he would be happy to send my medical information to another doctor for further treatment". I don't understand how a patient following up with office staff about never receiving calls back, or even wanting to make sure that they have all the paperwork that they need would trigger such a harsh response. I never called to ask for a completion date. I simply wanted to make sure they had all that they needed. You need to beware of this place. Your best interest is not taken in to consideration. I have all documentation of the conversation through email should someone like to see it before deciding to pursue treatment at this facility. I would not have wasted my time or energy if I had known they treat people this way. I will never go back. It is sad that I was referred here by an amazing former employer who I adore, just to be treated like a worthless piece of garbage. Very disrespectful towards patients. Everyone was super nice and very thorough, Dr Waldrop was especially very funny and nice. Office was amazingly clean and very updated, chairs were very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone and everyone

Dr. Waldrop is a very rude physician with control issues and god complex. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. Be sure not to ask too many questions and be really careful not to call to see why your calls have not been returned by office staff. You may get a very nasty email from the doctor himself. I will never recommend anyone here, and I will never return.

Omg I loved the Dr. He was amazing and the staff was sweet. My experience was amazing,quick, and painless! Highly Recommended!

I highly recommend Dr Waldrop to anyone with foot problems. He was even honest enough to admit that the fusion I need was out of his expertise and would need to refer me to Dr. Andrews clinic. He was very informative about my condition and explained the x-rays in a way no other Dr has ever reviewed x-rays. He immediately ordered a CT.. Catscan. On my return visit Dr. Waldrop went over the results and reassured me that this was beyond his expertise and was certain that he couldn't do it. he Alsohere were Dr's that specifically do multi hardware fusions. I highly recommend he and his staff. Glad to have met him and hope this won't be the last time I highly recommend Dr Waldrop to anyone with foot problems. Dr. Waldrop and his staff are wonderful.

He is very knowledgeable and is straight forward when he talks with you. We have been visiting him since first set up practice. Would highly recommend him!!
