Extremely nice & caring people!

Being going to Dr Stevenson for about 10 to 12 years. Done back and neck surgery on me and would trust no one else. He is straight and honest with you and has a great attitude and takes his time when talking to you. Would definitely recommend him and staff is awesome also.

The entire office was very helpful and Dr. Stevenson was wonderful...went over my issues in layman's terms!!! First visit was awesome!

Dr Stevenson is good however there were many bumps & miscommunication during this process. On the plus side, they have been working hard to make good on my hubby's aftercare. Still going through it process & will update my review as it rolls along

I got to my appointment early and was immediately called back with no waiting. Both doctor and staff were very professional.

It was a good visit I told my daughters about how good he talk to me and I no he will help me

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr. Stevenson seems to be a great Dr. However, he had to refer my husband to Emory due to a condition that Dr. Stevenson could not help with. Dr. Stevenson’s staff absolutely does not care for the patients or their health. After being referred to Emory, Dr Stevenson’s staff was supposed to send over records and failed miserably. My husband has made a total of 24 calls between the two offices and Dr. Stevenson’s office manager still has not gotten records to Emory. It has been 2 months since being referred. The office manager constantly passes blame on Emory yet the records are coming from Dr. Stevenson’s office so how could it be the fault of Emory??? If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr Stevenson referred my husband to Emory as the surgery he needs he could not perform. He told my husband this was time sensitive because of the risk of being paralyzed from the neck down. It’s been 2 months and 24 calls later and Dr. Stevenson’s office manager and staff still have not sent records to Emory. THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS!!!

Dr Steverson is awesome at what he does. Trust no other

I met with Dr.Stevenson after MRI and x-rays and he explained the surgery in detail. He also answered all my questions in a way I understood it. I'll be having surgery on my neck soon and he said recovery time is about 2 weeks. I'll update after my surgery but as of now, I'd recommend him to anyone

Dr. Stevenson takes your insurance money then tells you after the visits he will refer you to another doctor when he knows damn well your insurance will pay for the 3 visits. His staff writes reviews to hype him upso they FAKE REVIEWS. Bad experience

Very professional

When I first saw Dr. Stevenson I was desperate. The pain was unbearable at times. There were days I could not stand and walk. I told him that I missed walking.I told him that if he could help me then I would get out and walk again. Today almost a year later I walked over 6 miles on my workout. 16 minute miles up and down hills. I have tremendous faith in him as a surgeon. He literally gave my life back to me with the help of God. I have had previous surgeries, all by a different surgeon and I thought a lot of him as well but I am so happy that Dr. Stevenson was my doctor this time around. Listen to what he says, do what he tells you to do, and if you can be helped, Dr. Stevenson is the doctor to help you. I can’t say enough about how much he has helped me. I highly recommend him! Great! He is knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner! He got rid of my pain! Everyone is great!

Dr. Stevenson was very compassionate and explained my condition and treatment options in great detail. His staff was also excellent.

Dr Stephenson and Ms Lutz (NP) make a great effort to explain what is happening with your medical concerns. They are thorough as in they sent me multiple place for tests prior to making a decision as to what procedures were needed. I feel they that gathered plenty of evidence to make the right choices for corrective treatment. The office staff is helpful and professional. Good experience through three visits so far.

Everyone there is very friendly & want the best for their patients. I just started being a patient there & I have no complaints. They are very thorough with seeing & figuring out what’s bothering you.

Dr Stevenson and Lauren Price along with a team of incredible nurses and doctors at Colesieum gave me my life back! I was in pain for years, x-rays and MRIs showed multiple issues with my lumbar. Other doctors said they couldn't (wouldn't) help me. My primary provider Katee Durkee at Rutland Family Healthcare, referred me to Dr Stevenson and highly recommended him. We tried less invasive first. The pain was so incredibly intense and nothing relieved it. Jumping through insurance hoops, I was finally able to have the surgery. On October 28, 2019 I went into the hospital in a wheelchair, after ten hours of surgery to repair my whole lumbar I got out of the bed, on my own and walked pain free to the bathroom! My recovery has been amazing, I was back to riding my horses in four months! I have "drop foot" from when it got worse right before the surgery, but it continues to improve. My experience may not be yours, I hope it is, but your best bet for a positive outcome is Dr Stevenson

Very professional and understanding. Explained their plans to help and identify the spinal problems I have.

Great staff. Dr. Stevenson was awsome. Enjoyed my visit. I trust him to help me figure this out.

I have been being treated by Dr Kevin Stevenson for over six years. He was there for me when NO other doctor would help me ( due to the fact another doctor had messed up my back surgery) or fix the issue.Dr Stevenson who was suggested to me by my niece that had previously worked with him, was willing to look at all images and reports to see if he could do anything. He made no promises to me or my husband when we met with him. He didn’t tell us it would heal itself, didn’t say it would go away, didn’t say learn to live with it. In the contrary he gave us an option, something new we could try. We put all of our trust in him and went for it. After 4 days in ICU on trial procedure then two weeks later temporary placement I started to fell human again. Of course it wasn’t a complete fix of what had been done but it gave me hope and a shot at a continued life. I have issues and a local doctor than monitors when adjustments are needed. I trust Dr Stevenson with my life. I believe in him. He shoots straight and doesn’t sugarcoat things I owe him for giving me a chance at a rest of my life yes it is different but I am here. Always professional & courteous & explains thing where you can understand

When my appointment was first confirmed, I was truly excited. I thought that going to visit Dr. Stevenson I would finally receive good news. Well that was not the case. I don’t feel like he was able to help me. To fix my problem he simply referred me to a pain management center. I have been referred to doctor after doctor. I just pray that I will be able to see someone that can help give me some permanent relief.

Dr. Stevenson and his staff are caring, friendly and professional. They always make you feel comfortable and important.

Dr.Stevenson is an excellent neurosurgery specialist.He has your wellbeing at heart when he operates on you.Dr.Keven is an excellent surgeon very talented on spinal cord procedures.a I would recommend him to anyone wanting a doctor with heart.Thanks so much to doctor Stevenson for doing a great job during my surgery

Greatly impressed, I had been to several doctors with no lasting results. Dr. Stevenson listened to me, explained in detail my MRi, showed me a picture from my MRI and recommended what tests he needed to future diagnose me. His staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this doctor and staff.

Dr. Stevenson and all of his staff are the very best. I have been treated with nothing less than truly honest, kindness, care and concern. They have made me feel like family. They always have a spot on their schedule to see me within the week I call it's usually the day I talk to them. I will always recommend him. Absolutely wonderful!!

Dr.Stevenson is very thorough in treating his patients. He will answer all questions. He has been my neurosurgeon since 2010 and has done 3 surgeries on me. I highly recommend him.

Good visit about the only thing is calling the patient maybe once would be nice assuring the person that they are concerned about their well being.

I just became a new patient of Dr Stevenson after researching his excellent patient reviews. I was extremely impressed with him during my first visit. His bedside manner is just remarkable!! I’m seeking relief (Revision surgery perhaps) from a failed fusion surgery two years ago from a different surgeon (an orthopedic surgeon). Dr. Stevenson listened to me and answered all questions very thoroughly!! He reviewed my recent scans and even explained an MRI I had done prior to the unsuccessful fusion and provided me his honest opinion, which I greatly appreciated. He suggested an updated MRI and even had his nurse submit the MRI request before I left the appointment with him. He realizes and empathizes about how severe and debilitating my symptoms and pain is! I am grateful that I’ve finally found a spine surgeon who has the knowledge, skills and expertise- but more importantly- a surgeon who actually cares about his patients!!! I very highly recommend Dr Stevenson!!

Dr. Stevenson and his staff made me feel like a patient, not a number. Dr. Stevenson explained things to me in an unhurried manner and gave me the time and opportunity to ask questions. I am VERY happy to have discovered Dr. Stevenson and Optimum.

Dr Stevenson appeared more than willing to help, but he is ahackled by the VA. He wants an MRI, and we have to await approval from them.

I have had issues with my back for years. After a surgery on my lower back 9 yrs ago left me with a nasty staph infection, my original dr wouldn’t touch me and said no one else would either. I tried injections in my back, but was still in pain. After consulting with 2 other drs who were not very encouraging I found Dr. S. He talked to me and explained everything, and made me feel comfortable. He was optimistic that he could help. I’m still recovering, but the awful pain in my legs is gone

Dr. Stevenson is the guy to trust if you need neck or spine surgery in the middle GA area.

I had fusions and a laminectomy in Mar 2018. I had an incision problem when a small area didn't heal properly. He did a repair of that area in May and that healing went very smoothly. I have much arthritis in my spine, and so I am not totally pain free, but I can sleep pain free. I have options left to consider for further treatment. At 76, I am pleased with my surgery, and still trying to regain strength in my back. It has been slow, but steady progress. I walk 30 minutes most days.

Dr. Stevenson did my fusion in my neck explained everything on point what to expect . Would highly recommend him to anyone! His staff is so awesome as well!

Dr Stevenson has been my spine Dr for over 10 years. He is compassionate and caring. Most of all he has allowed me to be pain free!!

Dr Stevenson operated on my wife when he practiced in Atlanta. He botched the surgery. It was my wife's second fusion which the first one was very successful. My wife woke up after surgery and couldnt move or feel her right leg. After telling Stevenson he said it was just trama and swelling and that it would get better. After a ct and going back in the scan showed he had put the screws directly crisscrosse into her spin coursing permanent nerve damage to her leg. Run away. He was fired.

After being in severe pain for many years and having two other neurosurgeons say they couldn't make me better, Dr Stevenson operated on me in November, 2016 (fusing 7 levels of my vertebrae, with laminectomy) and I have had no further pain since then. Once the initial surgical pain was over, I no longer had to take any narcotics for pain relief, can stand straight, and feel like a new person. I do still have a few muscle spasms but am working to strengthen these core muscles. Thank you Dr. S.

Not much bedside manner, he does not belive in the use of braces after surgery which i belived had alot to do with my failed acdf surgery! He also did an SI fusion on me that 2 doctors have said i did not need. I NEVER saw him one time after both surgeries, he will send his assistant in! They took one set of xrays and said i looked great when in reality i was NOT! my new dr told me that i needed a ct scan to show if i was fusing. Everything was loose when i just reoperated on! Nothing had fused!

I have recommended Dr. Stevenson to anyone who tells me they are having back problems. He is the only physician who was willing to help me with my back problems. I had another physician in Macon, GA who told me there was nothing he could do for me and referred me to Emory and the physician there told me he couldn't help me. Dr. Stevenson reviewed my medical records and recommended the ablation and it helped and I have had to have a back fusion and it has helped. Dr. Stevenson is the best.

Dr. Stevenson spent a significant amount of time explaining my husband's spine problem in terms that made sense. He had recently gone through 2 previous surgeries that made his pain unbearable, and we were told by the original surgeon that there was nothing more that could be done surgically. Dr. Stevenson identified his problem immediately on the MRI and fixed him several days later! I would recommend him to anyone!
