Very kind man. Very knowledgeable and thoroughly covers all the bases. My mother has been going for over 20 years to Dr. Kinback and he has always felt like a family member to us but always professional. A genuine pioneer in his field.

My son's experience was not positive. My son started the program in March 2020 and then covid hit. He went for 1 week and we lost $1000 because the only credit given was $250. He then went for 8 weeks straight 5 days per week through the TMS procedure and it did not work. In fact he believes it made his anxiety and depression worse. And after paying over $10K for the treatment because of the poor bookkeeping that the office has they are trying to collect $174.00. Do your research for TMS treatment as there are other providers that will do a better job with the treatment, bookkeeping and scheduling. My son's experience was not positive. After going to another Psychiatrist for 5 years, I switched to Dr. Kinback. Thank goodness he suggested marriage counciling for me! As it turned out, I was in an abusive marriage. No wonder I was so depressed! It wasn’t drugs I needed, it was to learn self-respect! Thank you Dr. Kinback for pointing that out. My true freedom came from leaving my ex AND the drugs behind!!???? It’s true, he’s not terribly sentimental, but at least he was honest and pointed me towards freedom!! That’s what mattered to me. I've been a patient of Dr. Kinback for the past 8 years, and he has been excellent in every way. He is thorough, patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and conservative. He asks various new questions at almost every appointment, and follows up on issues discussed in previous meetings. However, perhaps the most objective assessment of the quality of associating with him is the exceptional capabilities of three physicians to whom he has referred me - all three have been beyond what i could have expected, in their backgrounds, expertise, and personabilities. Quality begets quality.

I wrote a 3,875 character review to protect the public, but this site only allows a few sentences. 1) Dishonest, immature & bizarre doctor. 2) Badmouths other doctors. 3) Doesn’t listen. 4) Dirty Office. 5) Billed for more than quoted. 6) Possible insurance fraud. 7) Immature staff. 8) Harassing phone calls. 9) High pressure to treat w/ him. 10) Another doctor warned me of his behavior and sneaky practices. I should have listened. I would write more specifics, but I fear retaliation.

Dr. Kinback is exceptional Psychiatrist. Not only does he work to treat my Anxiety and Depression, he is acutely aware and careful of other chronic medical conditions I have. He is patient, kind, thorough, and very professional. I heartily recommend him for all areas of Psychiatric care!

I needed help with depression and I ended up running out of his office in tears. He was extremely rude and condescending.

He is by far, in the 30+ years I have seen a psychiatrist for my depression THE WORST !!! HE IS NOT FRIENDLY, HE IS CONDESCENDING. ACTS VERY BORED. HAS NO COMPASSION. I HAVE SEVERAL ISSUES. THE NEXT DAY AFTER I SAW HIM WAS A SAT. I RECEIVED A CERTIFIED LETTER FROM HIM STATING I WAS TO COMPLEX HE WAS DROPPING ME AS A PATIENT. YIKES HELLO

I've gone to Dr. Kinback 3 times this year to be tested for ADD. All three trips with appointments to his office resulted in me having to wait on average 1 hour past my appointment times. They clearly over book with patients so they can make an much money as possible. If you want a real relationship with your doctor and not just sit around for an hour to meet with him for 10 minutes then I recommend you AVOID this doctor and office! Upon receiving my last bill for the office visit they decided to over charge me for an 'extended' visit even though it was the regular 10-15 minutes.
