Dr. Heaton Recommended hip replacement for my displaced hip which a chiropractor maniputed (snapped) back into place, $200 office visit sure beats a $40k unnecessary surgery.

My son smashed his toe and I had to rush him to the ER, Dr. Heaton stitched his toe up and was absolutely amazing in such a stressful event. We went to the orthopedic office and Dr. Winkler saw my son and again, he was amazing to my son and I. We saw another doctor the 3rd time around and he was very kind also. When my sons stitches came out, we again saw doctor Winkler who was so kind and patient with my 2 yr old son and he also complimented our parenting. I absolutely love this office and the doctors and staff here. Dr. Heaton is great! He genuinely cares about his patients and wants to make them better. He is very knowledgeable. He is happy to address your concerns and answer any questions you may have. I have seen several orthopedic surgeons in the Klamath basin and Dr. Heaton was the first to actually diagnose my issue. Two total hip replacements later and I can walk without pain or a limp again. I can’t thank him enough!

I found Dr. Heaton to be honest & straightforward, but also very kind. He was easy to understand & didn't "talk over my head" (as some doctors do). My sugery went very smoothly as did the subsequent MUA procedure when I encountered a complication of aggressive scar tissue. The MUA immediately resolved my range of motion issues to allow me to meet my P/T goals. Dr. Heaton was highly recommended and I can see why. I will certainly return to him when I have my other knee replaced. An initial joint replacement can be scary; but his calm demeanor and honest approach immediately put me at ease and kept me confident at every stage from pre op to recovery.

Dr. Heaton is wonderful! He has done two different surgeries on me and we are getting ready to do a third. He is very nice, and I would never have considered another surgeon for my current injury. I would definitely recommend him.

Both of my children have had to see Dr. Heaton for significant arm injuries, one requiring surgery. I have seen him for a shoulder issue, and also an injury that was major, and misdiagnosed by another doctor. The care that we received was excellent.
