Dr. Schiffman is a wonderful physician and has a great bedside manner!

Appointment/visit was handled efficiently, professionally and carefully. No waiting. Dr. Schiffman aware of my general medical history and provided helpful care. The office staff also attentive and courteous. Dr. Schiffman allowed enough time to answer additional questions. His Medical Assistant/Medical Student, Parker Strode (sp?) was also thorough in reviewing preliminary matters before Dr.Schiffman saw me. Dr. Schiffman has always been very good at helping me with wrist pain. He is kind and caring and easy to get ahold of since he works at several different locations. His staff is friendly and helpful to! I highly recommend seeing him if you have any arm or wrist pain!

I saw Dr. Schiffman for 2 different broken bones in my hand in a 10 month period. Dr. Shiffman is a kind, patient Dr. The 2nd break happened in IN, where it was initially treated at an immediate care facility. They charged $195 for the doctor visit, x-ray & temp splint. Loyola charges $659 for the x-ray + $129 for Dr. The main reason for the reason for the poor review is that the billing department is a total mess. I've called 13 times in 8 months with resolution! I have NEVER dealt with a doctor so rude, uncaring & indifferent to the needs of a patient. I broke my wrist in 10/17, I had the wrist surgically repaired by another doctor, 3 wks post-op (still in a cast) my thumb went limp. I was referred to Dr Schiffman for a tendon transfer. I waited 5 hours for the surgery, 1st f/u, my c/o pain & inability to use that hand were ignored. 2nd f/u yesterday, same problems, & he shrugged his shoulders & said "Oh well, there is nothing else I can do for you"

Dr. Schiffman was recommended to me by a friend. I have since recommended him to several others based on my experience. Dr. Schiffman is highly skilled and explains his diagnosis and treatment thoroughly. He is respectful of his patients and is very approachable. I have trusted this team for 4 surgeries with excellent outcomes.

Dr. Schiff man was very thorough and is an excellent surgeon. My wife broke both of her arms at the wrists. ..very rare, but Dr. Schiffman provided excellent consulation, surgery and follow-up.

Not really willing to work with me to solve my shoulder issues. He made an appointment with me for a certain day. I took off work to be present for my appointment and when I was on my way to work, his office called to inform me that Dr Shiffman had canceled my appointment and was not willing to see me. So much for the Hippocratic Oath. I'm assuming he never read it, let alone swore to it because he is totally devoid of compassion or understanding.
