DR. BERRIE's Mandeville Office

I had fallen at lunch time going out the back door, and my foot had taken the hit pretty badly. I was alone and pretty desperate to find a doctor to look at it. I felt it might be broken because it really hurt so much. Scanning the podiatrist in the phone book, I found Dr. Quick's office which, in fact, was very close to my home. That would be good because I wouldn't have to drive so far because, of course, it was my RIGHT foot. The receptionist answered my call and listened. She told me to hold on and evidently asked about them seeing me. When she came back to me, she asked if I would come over now. I said "yes" and went right over. I had no wait at all and was treated so well. Kelly, the radiologist, put me in a room and Dr. Johnson came in. She is new to the practice I found out but no one would have known that. She is very professional and very caring. She took time and asked many questions. They x-rayed my foot and it had a broken bone. After discussing many options from surgery to a boot, she decided the boot would be best for now. I felt very taken car of and cannot recommend these people enough. I' ll be going back back in 2 weeks for a followup. No one will believe this because in today's world of uncaring people, Dr. Johnson would not let me drive home with or without the boot, so Kelly drove my car with me in it to take me to my front door and the doctor followed her to brirng her back to the office.
