Dr Mooney diagnosed me with COVID on the phone! A zoom appointment, he told me to quarantine for 14 days. Then get X-rays looking for a tumor and or pneumonia! Now that's one heck of a diagnosis on the phone! With NO testing. I told him"I don't have covid, I don't even have a cold! Just another doctor seeking government funds from covid patients! What a terrible doctor! I've been asking him for 2 years for a lung X-ray with contrast, he kept denying it. In my opinion Dr Mooney is not a good pulmonologist! I would not recommend him to anyone! Thanks for telling me 2 days before my appointment that you tried running an inactive insurance that I haven’t had in 6 months and telling me my new one you don’t take. Also waited nearly 3 months just to see the doctor! That was the fastest appointment they would give me! When I had my referral sent over to him, I had my new insurance for already 2 months so there should not have been an issue here! Office staff needs a wake up call. You don’t do that! Not right. Waited nearly 3 months here!! Don’t recommend this doctor simply for this reason! Go somewhere else to find someone that has their stuff together! I have had many visits with Dr. Mooney. He gets in and out pf the examining room as quickly as he can. It is difficult to get him to speak about your prognosis. In fact, it is difficult to communicate with him generally. I find him aloof and uncaring. I would not recommend him.

If I could give a zero score I would. He is proof that even “C” students can be doctors. I came from California, where I had an excellent doctor who actually cared about his patients and conducted comprehensive examinations and gave you a treatment plan so you could see where you were at, your history and what was the plan for the future. This doctor had no interest in my history, other than his minimal questionnaire. He had no interest in going above his minimal exam and refused to complete work related documents because he didn’t want to. I have asthma, sometimes acute and he wasn’t concerned that Covid could affect me because he read one study! One study on a novel virus! I end up the emergency with a simple virus! I am not willing to put my life on the line based on his poor judgment. It appears his “God” complex is overriding his training or experience.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Mooney and was pleasantly surprised at how he took his time and answered my questions and didn't rush me through like my previous pulmonologist did. His staff was friendly knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good pulmonologist.

This is one of the best Doctors my husband Clayton has seen. You never have to wait long to see Dr Mooney and he is so through and caring. And when you need his help on short notice he is there. And his staff is wonderful. A special shout out to Aleen for always taking our calls and always helping us out so much. Judy can’t day enough good about this office. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Dr. Mooney is the best pulmonologist that I’ve ever seen. He’s intelligent and really listens to your concerns.

I started seeing Dr. Mooney after I brought up to my Family Doctor that I was not happy with the Pulmonologist I had been seeing. I Thank my lucky stars that Dr. Mooney was an excellent choice! He's very caring and explained in detail what was going on with my illness and was not rushing me but taking the time to answer my questions. His staff are a reflection of his leadership, they are always very caring and friendly!! If you are looking for a Pulmonologist that's GREAT, then Dr. Mooney is it!
