It was Dr Butler that gave my son his first diagnosis. Dr Butler has no bed side manners and was not helpful in any suggestions or directions. His choice of words were hurtful. I would not recommend him to anyone.

The front service is horrible the girls always have an attitude, they never answer the phone, as I'm writing this review I'm on the phone been waiting for 25 mins I live far and need for them to fax the records to my sons new pediatrician, most likely I'll be heading overthere only to see the girl roll her eyes at me and tell me she cant do it I'll have to wait for the nurse to call me back, when is such an easy and fast thing to do. Horrible customer service! Over 30 minutes to get someone on the phone and when they answer.....all responses are aha, hmm, uhu just in a hurry to get you off the phone BE MORE PROFESSIONAL! I am not calling McDonalds I am calling a neurologist office yeez!

I've been going to Dr. Butler for years and so it is with GREAT disappointment that I write this review. But over the past few years the quality of service has been less than adequate. I love the doctors there don't get me wrong but the actual service and process that they do things is becoming intolerable. Forget trying to reach the office over the phone because you will be on hold for an eternity and half. And sometimes if you're really lucky no one will pick up and the call will drop. I really hate to write negative reviews; in fact I hadn't ever until now, but this is absurd. Again the medical staff are great and very educated but the service is severely lacking. Dr Butlers front office staff is highly unprofessional and rude. I called his office to have a prescription refilled for my son and I was then placed on hold for at least 40 minutes. I was hung up on and I had to call back and wait another 20 minutes before finally speaking to one of the front office staff members. She was very rude and was not trying to help me with my issue. She then told me “If I did not like it, I could go somewhere else .”. After all this I still was not able to get my son’s prescription filled, which he really needs. Now I’m forced to go find a new neurologist who doesn’t hire incompetent staff and doesn’t allow them to treat their patients so badly. You would think Kenneth, whose an neurologist, would be much smarter when it comes to hiring staff members who represent his practice. I visit the doctor 6 month ago and the doctor was nice and courteous, now was time for a follow up appointment and what a disappointed when after I called 3 times someone finally call me back and said...YOU NEED TO FIND ANOTHER GROUP BECAUSE WE ARE FULL!!! Immediately I asked for a manager because my child need to see the doctor ASAP, the lady said she was not available and promise they will called me back...They never called me back, after a week I call them again and I get an appointment for 2 months ahead. Dr. Butler is the best pediatric neurologist. My son has been seeing him for 8 years. He is compassionate and extremely thorough when explaining the course if treatments. He is hands down my son’s favorite doctor. Also, I love the online app HealtheLife where I can email and make appointments and get prescriptions ordered. It saves time rather than waiting on the phone. Dr. Butler is the best pediatric neurologist. My son has been seeing him for 8 years. Waste of time I called on 3/5/2018to make first appointment and I was told that my son's doctor was Dr. Butler and was given 4/17/2018 at 10 am and I called my son's pediatrician to make the referral. Today 4/17/2018 I am leaving the office my child has not been seen because Dr. Butler was not there and to be seen I need to change the name on the referral I called pediatrician office they can't change it because insurance doesn't allow...I explain to girl in the front she like nothing... they didn't called me to change appointment days before if they knew Dr won't be inn....no answer ...like don't care you have to change appointment....and I lost a day of work just because they don't care.. I have been calling for days and waiting to 25-30 minutes at a time to get a refill for my son's prescription. Finally I had to send my sister, who lives fairly close, to speak to someone in person. The receptionist said she needed to speak to the nurse and assured me that she should return my call. I am still waiting, 3 days later and no call. The service here is the worst I've ever received from any doctor. We have never waited less than 2 hours to see Dr. Butler since we started going there. It use to be the best until they moved to 152nd. To make an appointment is almost impossible to do via phone. No one answers its like you are on a loop over and over. I literally held the phone for 30 minutes no answer. I wish they never moved to this location even though its closer the staff is just not the same. I will be looking to move to another doctor soon. Dr. Butler and staff are amazing!

Unfortunately incompetent staff will ruin a good doctor. I have been trying to schedule an appointment for the last 4 months and they keep telling me someone will call me back to schedule and they never do. At this point I am having an emergency but my insurance wont authorize the procedure unless he is seen by a neurologist. An emergency that could've been avoided. I do NOT recommend this practice.

We saw Dr Butler for the first time yesterday. Our daughter has ADHD and I think she has changed for the worse and I wanted a new doctor to evaluate her. Dr. Butler was with us over an hour, asked lots of questions and felt that from our answers to questions that something else was going on besides the ADHD. He ordered tests, changed her current medication dose and wanted her to see a child psychiatrist. He said once he gets the results; we could make a new plan and move forward. Great visit.

Dr. Butler sees my 10 year old and he is so kind and spends a lot of time in the office with you explaining everything in great detail.

I called to schedule an appointment and they were very rude with me and didn't want to schedule or either leave put me on waiting list. Definitely going to somewhere else.
