Dr. Kenneth Bunch

As per my experience Dr. Kenneth Bunch is very great experienced and polite. He explained my problem so clearly that I could understand easily. He goes step by step treatment. It's great that I found him for my treatment.

Dr. Bunch not only knows his stuff but he is very engaging and shares information readily, is generous with his time and with questions, is friendly and shows he cares. And he relates to your concerns and fears. He is just wonderful and I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Bunch for 3 months for extreme back pain. Actually, out of all the appointments I have had with Texas Orthopedics, I only saw him at the first one at my injection procedure. All the others have been with nurse practitioners only. The 12 sessions of physical therapy they recommended only aggravated the pain and made it worse. The injection procedure (in which Dr Bunch seemed completely indifferent to me) actually made my pain much worse, and upon a follow up visit, they concluded the injection was placed in the wrong location. With a new set of MRIs in the actual location of pain, now the office says they do not see what is wrong. They have no idea what is causing my pain. Working with Dr. Bunch and Texas Ortho has been a complete waste of time and money.

I chose to change physicians after a less than positive experience with another TXO physician and selected Dr. Bunch. Dr. Bunch was pleasant, listened, and was responsive and knowledgeable regarding my condition and care needs. He used visuals to explain my current condition and shared some future options for relief that I might consider, should pain get worse. At this point in time, I would definately recommend Dr. Bunch to others with back and hip pain. Dr. Bunch is a delightful doctor and was thorough with my evaluation for tingling/numbness in my hands. He provided great advice and I feel comfortable in his care.

Love most of the docs; but, have issues with several staff functions, including scheduling, lack of quality communication amongst office and medical staff, and problems getting medical staff properly handle issues.

There was a 50 minute delay from my scheduled appointment time and a long wait in the treatment room, but the treatment (a spinal injection) went smoothly and was done professionally. And has been effective , I am feeling much less pain than before.

Dr Bunch has given me many shots in my back. I am very happy with how he treats me and others.

Direct and straightforward!

Great system of questions before appointment and staff communicates clearly. Impressive staff and Physicians and technology.

Visited Dr. Bunch for some nerve testing on my arms. Both he and Dr. Nguyen were very hospitable and made the somewhat painful procedure more tolerable.

Dr. Bunch explained to me my health problem and he was very easy for me to understand. And that is not all that easy to do with a 72 year old patient. But he was very clear on how I needed to get better.

Excellent doctor

Dr. Bunch is very thorough and listens to all concerns. Very easy going, yet very knowledgeable.

Dr Bunch is gentle, informative, funny and most of all he fixes the problems.

Dr. Bunch has treated me for sciatica for a couple of years and I couldn’t be more happy with his demeanor, medical approach and unmatched professionalism!

My appointment occurred on time. Dr. Bunch looked over reason for the appointment and had x-rays taken first so he knew what was going on in my neck and shoulder.

Excellent care with a plan and staff that is wonderful!

My visit was great from the moment I walked in. Everyone was a pleasure to be around. You're welcome with a smiling face. Dr. Bunch was awesome, truly a pleasure to have him do my diagnosis for my for my wonderful and caring Dr Bergenson,thank everyone for my excellent care.

Appointment was right on time - was escorted to the examination room and the nurse noted my issues. X-rays were immediately taken and Dr. Bunch was in the examination room shortly after that for a more in-depth discussion/examination. Super-happy with the minimal wait time and professionalism of the staff!

Never saw the doctor but the nurse practitioner did a good job although the visit probably could have been done over the phone. I took the meds last night 1 pill and slept for 9 hours deeply Can see why people get addicted to those things

I never saw the doctor but his PA, Angel is fantastic! She remembered me and my issues from 4 years ago. She collaborated with me

Doctor took his time to explain things to me and I didn’t feel rushed.

Dr. Bunch is kind, compassionate and caring. Busy but trying to see everyone who needs to see him. Good support staff also. Easy to talk to and he listens to me.

Dr. Bunch always explains what he will do to help you, the patient.

Dr. Bunch is simply amazing, trustable and go to person with lots of knowledge in understanding the problem and patient enough to listen to the problem. Except the fact that management/ staff wouldn’t keep track of their own communication issues, anyone expects little honesty from the staff on scheduling the appointments or seeing the doctor. 1 star less for that.

Assistant called me today and apologized for her oversight. Very sincere and genuine. Mistakes happen. Unprofessional and irresponsible. A 6 week appointment cancelled for no reason. I waited 6 weeks for a new-patient appointment. I received confirmation texts 2 days ahead to confirm I would fulfill my commitment. I spent an hour completing new-patient forms on-line. I scheduled my vacation, work, and the actual day to be present for my 8:45am slot. The day I walk in, after 15 minutes of completing additional forms, the woman says "he is not available, we can reschedule you a month from now". No texts, no phone calls, or emails informing me he was not available. Not even an attempt to explain why. The receptionist and her manager were professional and polite. Always receive excellent, personalized care from Dr Bunch and his PA Angel. Very satisfied with the results.

The MOMENT I was to walk in for an 8:45am appointment I am told, "you will have to reschedule, he is not available". I waited 6 weeks for a new-patient appointment. 2 days prior I received text messages asking me to confirm my commitment. I spent an hour the night before filling out forms. I rearranged my vacation, work schedule, and day to be there on-time. I spent 15 more minutes with the receptionist filling out additional forms. No excuses given, no reasons, and then they say "he is available in a month if you would like to reschedule".

As always, appointments are so C pleasant, professional in listening to mg concerns and giving advise. Thank you Dr. Bunch and P.A. Angel.

I’ve been seeing Dr Bunch ( more like Angel, his wonderful CNP) for a few years now. He has seen me through several Cortisone shots, in both of my hips and in my spine, for pain relief. I am a candidate for a total hip replacement, but I have a very complicated medical history, so I keep taking cortisone shots to buy me some time to get my ducks in a row before surgery The only negative thing I noticed is that Dr. Bunch is never on time. This is of concern mainly when you are in the surgical center and awaiting a procedure. They get you back quickly, but it takes “forever” to get the procedure itself, even if you are the 1st Dr. Bunch is also just booked out so far into the future that I have had to beg an insider to get me an appointment ASAP. Have been going to Texas Orthopedics for over 10 years and seen Dr. Kenneth. Bunch and Dr. B. Smooth. Have never had any issues with doctors, staff or facility, including surgery center. Wouldn't change anything and am happy with the care I receive there. Also see Angel a PA and think she is great also.

I’ve only seen Dr. Bunch one time and I had a very favorable impression. It’s still pretty early on in my search for a diagnosis to my problems but hope he can help. The scheduling department is another story...they rescheduled my initial appointment 3 different times. It’s very frustrating since each time was another 6/7 day delay.

My knee was killing me and I could barely walk bc I tore my miniscus. I went in to Dr. Bunch's office and they were very polite, clean, checked my temperature, and I didnt have to wait long in the waiting room. I had to get a shot in my knee which I was scared of like no other and Dr. Bunch did it so great that it didnt even hurt just some pressure. Dr Bunch saw how much pain I was in from a slip and fall on the recent ice storm. He and his staff were so empathetic and held such great bedside manor. It was as great of an experience as possible given I hurt so bad. On the mend and on to PT!

Dr. Bunch and his team were super sweet and so attentive. They helped calm my nerves for my procedure and it was such a positive experience being in the office. I just got my injection today and the anesthesia has worn off and I can already feel a difference in my lower back and leg. I can't wait for what's to come! Awesome doc!!! One of the best specialists I’ve been to. Answered all my questions, explained everything and did a very thorough exam. Came up with clear treatment plan. P.s. Folks in office were very helpful also.

I only seen NP Angel I've never met Dr Bunch only his assistant wish I've could have met him, guess he doesn't exist. Came in foe sciatica pain.

Sometimes I only see his Np, Angel, who is a good listener and makes good suggestion. Dr Bunch is very approachable and looks at ways to treat my pains

Dr. Bunch was very attentive, knowledgeable, and gave great detail with his explanations. I am elated to have a Doctor who understands my level of pain and who wants to assist me in being comfortable while alleviating as much pain as possible. His staff is equally as pleasant and helpful.

Dr. Bunch deduced that my lower back pain was not due to a pre-existing condition I was born with. He then recommended physical therapy, twice a week for month. It worked out great, my pain is greatly reduced, almost eliminated. His assistant Angel was great on the follow up. She checked my range of motion, if I had any questions and provided an outlook for me. I won’t hesitate to go back again and would definitely recommend Dr. Bunch and Angel.

I love Dr. Bunch and the staff at Texas Orthopedics. I moved here from NY to the Austin area over 6 months ago. I was dealing with pain in my hip for quite some time, but was hoping it would eventually go away. I finally decided to see Dr. Bunch about it. He has a great personality and very welcoming and friendly. He did an X-ray on my hip and said I had inflammation of the bursa. I was relieved in knowing I didn’t need a hip replacement. He gave me a cortisone shot right in my hip. Within a few days of receiving the shot, I no longer had pain, and had full range of motion in my hip again. I was able to walk up steps without pain and resume other activities. I since sprained my ankle very badly, and will be seeing one of his colleague at the end of the month to make sure my ankle healed properly.

Had a hip injection. Prompt, thorough and effective. Remain very pleased with Dr Bunch’s knowledge and effectiveness of communicating procedure and expectations.

Dr. Bunch, and Angel, his Nurse Practitioner, are fabulous diagnostician's. They are kind and good listeners. I have never once felt rushed during an appointment. If anyone needs a physical medicine rehabilitation provider I would use Dr. Bunch.
