Dr. Paxton and her staff are A1. Generally, anyone who needs a root canal, dreads it. Dr. Paxton makes you comfortable and it is really a painless procedure. She even gives a courtesy call to follow up and check up on you afterwards. I would definitely recommend her and her lovely staff.

Highly recommend Dr. Paxton and her entire staff. The thought of having a Root Canal gave me some anxiety. This was completely unnecessary. They have a system and it works perfectly. They were able to accommodate me very quickly and when I arrived in the office there was no long waiting. Nothing irritates me more than having to sit and wait when you have a scheduled appt. Both times at the office there was no waiting :) Everyone in the office was extremely friendly and very professional. I did not experience any pain during the Root Canal and little expected pain afterwards. Dr. Paxton is great at what she does and if I need another Root Canal I will definitely go back to her. I cannot say enough amazing words about Dr. Paxton and her wonderful team! My root canal therapy appointment was nothing short of a luxury concierge experience, which is not the way most people would describe “getting a root canal.” Despite having a very painful tooth with complex root anatomy, Dr. Paxton delivered a painless and outstanding result with great skill and apparent ease. Dr Paxton and her staff were so kind and informative. I was very nervous about having my first root canal and her staff explained everything in detail beforehand. I didn’t experience any pain during the entire time which was my concern.

This was copied from a note I sent my daughter in law today when she asked me about my appointment . Dr Paxton just called me to ask if I was doing OK and to assure me that she was there if I needed her. That is the first time any doctor of any kind has ever called me to check to see if I am OK. I'm 71 and just had a root canal. Totally painless. All that I mentioned earlier about her efficiency, neatness, and professional attitude is now twice as good as I was trying to express. Like almost everyone else has said, I had a great experience with Dr. Paxton and her staff. My original appointment was supposed to be 2 weeks after I called (my tooth problem happened during the holidays). But I asked to be put on the waitlist in case there were any last minute openings. Literally the next day I got a call and was able to be seen. The staff were friendly and professional. Shannon was very helpful and caring. And Dr. Paxton did a great job. I was in and out in an hour. They were concerned with my comfort from start to finish. I am very happy I was referred to Dr. Paxton. I'm a dental professional and was very nervous about getting my first root canal. Dr. Paxton and her staff are wonderful. Very kind and attentive. I felt very little to no pain. I had a future appointment set up for a root canal but my tooth became infected and was causing me a lot of pain. I called their office at 8am and Dr. Paxton had me come in at 9am, evaluated my situation and performed the root canal. Her receptionist was very helpful, her dental assistant was efficient and extremely caring, as was Dr. Paxton. Dr. Paxton performed the procedure flawlessly in a caring, professional manner. She also gave me a follow up call later the same day to make sure that I was doing well. My experience could not have been any better. This is an exceptional Endodontics practice.

Dr Paxton is the best. I was very apprehensive on whether or not to go for root canal treatment as I didn’t know how the procedure will be but Dr Paxton made it so easy and comfortable so much so that after the procedure I hardly experienced any pain . Great doctor, great service.

Dr. Paxton did excellent work on a tooth my 84 year old mother had a unique problem with. She was able to fix the situation in a professional and pleasant manner.

Everyone in this office was very nice and friendly starting for front desk and going back to Dr.Paxton and her dental assistant. Dr.Paxton explained everything so while and was very gentle to my 10 year old son. She even called the next day to check on how he was doing. That was very nice of her to do. Wonderful experience with a root canal! I was very nervous, but I didn’t feel a thing, and I have a curve in the root! Called her office, they got me in the same day! Headache I had for two days is now gone! She was patient, gentle, and explained everything to me along the way! Highly recommend Dr. Paxton!

Saw Dr. Paxton recently for a root canal. The staff and Dr. Paxton were friendly and welcoming. They made sure prior to the procedure I was numb, and the procedure itself only caused mild soreness. My dentist talked about how much he loved they way she performed her root canals a couple of days later at my first crown appointment. Very pleased, and definitely recommend her and her staff.

She is so patient and gentle I didn’t even know I was having a root canal. The office is clean and inviting. Her staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Paxton is a wonderful dentist. Thank you Dr. Paxton for making me feel normal again.

I broke a tooth on Thanksgiving. Dr. Paxton was able to get me in very quickly. This was my first root canal, and I was worried about pain. I felt almost nothing and she was very diligent to keep me numb. The level of skill she demonstrated on my oddly angled nerve was remarkable. She spent extra time and resources to ensure it was completed the first time in the chair. The temporary filling held up until my crown was placed. Her office and staff were very professional. If you are the least bit anxious about a root canal Dr.Paxton is who you need to see. The entire atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff is very professional. Like everyone else who works I was trying to sandwich this appointment in the middle of a busy day. Dr Paxton was on time with both of my appointments. The office atmosphere was friendly and Dr Paxton was in control the whole time. Root canals are so infrequent it's hard to know what is normal. She explained things along the way which helped with any anxiousness. I have already recommended her to a close friend. I am really shocked at a couple of these reviews. Dr. Paxton is incredibly calm, gentle, and professional. Her super calm demeanor helped me relax immediately. I had to have a root canal and had no idea what to expect. She carefully explained the process to me and got to work. She stopped and checked on me constantly to make sure I was comfortable. Her staff were very caring and kind as well. The office was very clean and decorated very nicely. Also, they made sure that my insurance would pay at least 50% of the bill and called me a few days before my appointment to tell me how much I would need to pay out of pocket. It was $200 less than the other Endodontist in this area. Dr. Paxton also called me herself the next day to check on me and make sure I was doing ok. I would HIGHLY recommend her services. Not only was she gentle and thorough but she was super quick! The time went by super fast and I was surprised at how quickly the procedure was over. My jaw is a little sore but that was to be expected. They gave me a pouch of 800mg Ibuprofens to help with the pain. I am very appreciative of that. Total rip off!! Went for a second opinion my dentist sent me here and they charge $100 for a consultation fee just to tell me they don't know what the problem is but recommend I try a root canal and crown to help with the pain and if that doesn't help they can try other things! No I'm sorry my teeth are not a guessing game! Super rude dentist as well, I sat there for an hour waiting on her, talked to her for 10 mins and she just cares about making money. Very bad experience.

Terrible experience. Only cares about money. I was presented a bill that the doctor advised was my share. Then I got another bill in the mail for over $500!!!! The doctor was unwilling to take any responsibility and blamed it all on insurance. If I am given an estimate, the doctor as part of insurance network IS responsible. In addition, I had to pay $100 consultation fee, after I already paid my dentist. And the work was not done! I was sent back to the dentist for "permanent caps". A first time an endodontist overcharges, and doesn't complete work. I truly believe this office only cares about getting more profits. Terrible experience. Only cares about money. Absolutely wonderful!!!! I've always been a nervous Nelly when it comes to anything dental and needing a root canal made me extremely nervous but Dr. Paxton and her staff were so great. They put me at ease from the moment I walked in the door. She was kind and explained everything calmly and answered my questions. During the procedure she let me listen to music so I could drown out the sound of the instruments. Her staff helped with breathing techniques and diversion for calling effect. She would stop even if I had the slightest pain and make sure to numb me up more. She always asked how I was doing. Her demeanor is so calm and kind. Truly she was wonderful. Her staff as well. I can't say that having any kind of procedure is fun, but Dr. Paxton made it much better and if I ever need any endodontic services again or know anyone who does, I will happily and gleefully refer them to Dr Paxton and the team at Mooresville Endodontics Absolutely wonderful!!!! Terrible: money hungry, unethical practice. I was SOLD two root canals with a wrong estimate and then bore all the extra charges. Also, overcharged and job was not completed.
