Rudest non caring doctor I've ever worked with. I had more knowledge with my husband's working presumed diagnosis (later confirmed) He clearly doesn't respect women...especially those that have a brain.

Told my son he was just depressed and refused to see him again until he saw a psychiatrist. Took him to a counselor who asked why we were there when he was so sick. Took him to Mayo Clinic where he was diagnosed with neurological disorder. Made my 11 year old dislike doctors for a long time.

I've been seeing Dr Rydell since I was 8, on and off for 12 years. He has always been so patient and kind, always being sure to listen to my concerns and do whatever he can to help. He explains things well and never dismisses my concerns. Definitely appreciate all that he and Dr Irwin (who is an angel btw) have done for me.

Dr, Ridel sees 4 of our children for seizures. He has always taken the time to go through the kids full history just not what he is specifically treating. I also know he discusses treatment options with other specialists in our children's care. Dr. Ridel has an amazing nurse practitioner who works closely with him. Sarah his medical assistant is very fast and thorough when getting PA's needed for the children's seizure medications. Dr, Ridel sees 4 of our children for seizures. I was 2 mins late and told them it was an emergency I had to see him because they overdosed me on my meds, and needed to talk asap. He wouldn’t see me and wanted me to reschedule in 3 months.

Never can see him, they just send the nurse practitioner to see you. Doesn’t answer and of your questions, and you can tell he’s in a hurry and doesn’t care. Just another patient to get money from.

Extremely frustrated with this practice and physician. We were sent for a consult at 30 weeks pregnant - arrived 30 minutes prior to appointment time as instructed and waited an hour PAST the appointment time just to see him. Not a great first impression. He was supposed to come see our son in the hospital at birth - a different doctor from the practice came. We did see Dr. Ridel at one month, and per his instruction, scheduled a follow up at 6 months. When I got the confirmation message for the 6 month visit, I noticed that the provider name was different. When I called to follow up, I was told that we would be seeing his PA. I told the receptionist that I had had instruction to see Dr. Ridel, and why was the appointment with his PA? I was rudely informed that "he's in the office but his appointments can be with his PA," and that if I wanted an appointment with Dr. Ridel, she could, but he had no appointments until MAY. Funnily enough, when my husband called an hour later, an appointment had opened up a couple of days later. I have nothing against PAs and understand that physicians are busy, but a) it should have been disclosed to me we'd be seeing a PA at the time of scheduling and b) for something like a 6-month old with a neurological disorder, I want to see the MD, not a PA (especially knowing I'm going to get billed the same anyway). First off I’m pretty sure Sarah his partner wrote the only nice comment he has. He is never available we haven’t seen him in two years out of the four we have been with him. The only thing he knows to do is have his nursing assistant write up higher doses on medication he has overdosed us twice and is never around when that happens. We just had an overdose happen two days ago and he REFUSED to see us today don’t go to him. He is never in a hurry and always takes his time with my 11 year old son. He is a wonderful doctor. He doesn't try to over medicate my son. My son has tourettes but its very hard to see the symptoms because he his medicine works so well. We drive about an hour to see Dr. Ridel but he's worth the trip and my son really likes him.

This is the neurologist you’re searching for. I’ve suffered from debilitating migraines for 30+ years. I’ve seen countless neurologists advising me to sleep them off or take antediluvian drugs. Dr. Ridel listens to my concerns and asks questions. I’m not rushed through. I’m grateful he’s dedicated to helping his patients. We’ve had amazing success in reducing my migraines. Save yourself the unnecessary pain and ineffective treatments of other doctors. Start with Dr. Ridel.

Dr. Ridel is caring, compassionate and has our child at the forefront of every decision of treatment that he makes. However, he does not make treatment decisions on his own. He makes it a point to hear our input and concerns and takes those into consideration. He also wants to hear about our son's other medical issues and successes. It is obvious that he cares deeply about our son and his wellbeing.

Dr Keith Ridel is always up on the latest medicines/treatments for my son. He always kind and attentive to our needs and concerns. I highly recommend Dr Ridel!

Dr. Keith Riddel is one of the kindest physicians I have met. He is never in a hurry, explains things very clearly, and is very thorough. My son had an MRI done and he called us personally with the results. Dr. Ridel was assumptive with my child. He was rather quick to make a decision that my child was "embellishing". Unfortunately my child was not embellishing and was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease, confirmed through genetics testing. I don't care how many letters you have behind your name...if you don't know what is going on...admit it....don't tell me my child is making things up.

Not good. He didn't accurately treat my sons epilepsy and kept recommending our son see a psychologist - who also happened to be Dr Ridels wife. The Riley children's Epilepsy center has been great for treating my son.

Hasty diagnosis, ZERO follow up after either session of expensive testing until we pushed it, and even then, never even a call from the doc. We are moving on. Don't use this ped neurologist. All our testing and appointments did was make a few boat payments for him.

In the beginning, we thought we had found the right doctor. We quickly found out that he was not keeping his word and following the plans that we had made together for treatment. He said he specialized in the condition we saw him for and then told us he didn't treat the condition. We were VERY disappointed and he left us hanging with a child that needed assistance. Sad for us, but very sad for our child! It took us weeks before we could get him an appointment to be treated elsewhere.
