Dr. Keith Alan Kuenzler

Dr. Kuenzler and the nursing staff at Hackensack University Medical Center Children’s Hospital performed a laparoscopy and laparotomy to identify and remove a teratoma from my ovary. I was extremely nervous, as it was my first surgery--but he was kind, funny, and informative throughout the process, and I could not trust or recommend anyone more. I’m grateful that I received care from such a skilled and experienced surgeon, and I feel blessed that I was under his and his team's care. They went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable before, during, and after the procedure--my parents and I were assured I was in the best hands, and I felt comfortable enough to reach out to them long after the surgery was conducted. Thank you very much to Dr. Kuenzler, Nurse Practitioner Lu, and Cecelia for the care, professionalism, and love they demonstrated to my family and me.

I am so grateful for Dr. Kuenzler and his staff. My son needed emergency surgery and I have rarely felt such an immediate trust in a doctor. Dr. Kuenzler has a keen ability to educate while providing a calm confidence that my child was in the best possible hands. Post op, I felt Dr. Kuenzler and his staff exceeded my expectations in both his attentiveness and tenderness. I hope we will never need surgery again but if so, I only want Dr. Kuenzler, Lu and Cecelia on board.

My son had laproscopic appy- was not expecting surgery so quickly. Dr. Kuenzler was calming, explained the procedure, answered all our questions, listened to our concerns (both pre and post surgery)and made my son feel comfortable. Surgery went great and he is recovering perfectly. :) Very professional scheduling staff and NP was excellent with follow up questions, etc. Dr. Kuezler and his staff made an unpleasant situation positive for us! THANK YOU !
