The office and Dr. Kirby are fine, no complaints there. However, coming into the office and seeing a mug on the check in desk with a logo that says "liberal tears" on it makes check in quite uncomfortable. It seems pretty inappropriate to have political commentary displayed right at the front desk no matter which side of the aisle your on. A doctors office should make you feel comfortable. Well I've only seen Mr Kirby twice since I been going to his office . I was recommended by one of my patient. I'm thankful but sometimes I feel like I'm not the right fit for his office my insurance and money but just not me I wish they would listen to the patient more I have to go out and other Doctors find out the problem I been going there almost three years the front office is awesome the staff is great with bedside manner but what about our pain and care I turn in medicine I need to find out what's causing the pain Well I've only seen Mr Kirby twice since I been going to his office . Dr.Kirby is a very good doctor, he showed me great concern and had tests ran on me to get to the source of the problem. I highly recommen him for anyone in Severe pain. He will do everything to make you comfortable.

I’ve been going to Savannah Pain Mgmt since relocating from Nv to Savannah in 2018. My experience with front Ofc, nursing staff and Dr Kirby’s PA’s has always been great! However, recently my interaction with PA L. Reinhardt and their insurance person Dawn was more than just courteous and professional. They took the time to listen to my problem, investigate and act as a true patient advocate in assisting me find resolution and feel comfortable in talking to them. When it comes to a physicians office and their personnel this means a lot in the community they serve! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I was a patient for 4+ years & recently admitted to hospital which prescribed me pain meds while admitted and only taken while admitted. When discharged I went to my regular visit & I came forward and told them hospital gave me another medication so they did a drug screen which I told them urine came back showing what hospital prescribed me. Now Dr. Kirby’s office will no longer see me nor listen to anything I say & they just treat me like some kind of street corner drug addict & that is so not fair to us that have legitimate medical problems & take our meds as prescribed, it’s just not fair! I expected better from Dr. Kirby & this really disappointed me. No one should be treated this way. I wouldn’t send my dog to see anyone of those heartless so called doctors in his office.

Dr. Kirby is my favorite doctor because he is kind and caring and is helpful to treat my pain from my lower back and other joints. He's very sympathetic and listens.

I've been a patient with Dr. Kirby and I have a very complicated extensive medical history that requires meticulous doctor and patient communication and listening to one another. Staff was very courteous and made me feel much more at peace with my procedure. Dr. Kirby was down to earth, friendly and was prompt to answer any questions I had. I myself are a nurse and desire at least a good standard of professional care. I was pleased. The staff met my expectations.

Dr Kirby is a very compassionate and caring doctor. I'm not just a number on a chart, he treats me as an individual. He is always there for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I live in Brunswick Georgia and I travel to his practice because he is worth it. I just can't say enough about the wonderful doctor that he is. Thank you Doctor Kirby for being my doctor and taking care of me!

I have always had a good office visit with Dr. Kirby's employees. The care I receive allows me to be more active and productive at home.

He in my opinion was very hurried and agitated on this Monday morning. He did not listen to me when explaining my pain. I told him recently my knee down into my calf was numb. He said I wouldn’t worry about that. His nurse interrupted us two times. He seemed very agitated and it interrupted my explanation of my pain. He truly only wants to give pain meds not find the root cause of my pain. I want to know what is causing my pain, not mask it with a bunch of pills. I do not recommend him unless you only want pills. I will not go back. I would give it 0 stars.

Saw this Dr few years ago....he is terrible...his office manager then was worse...he will drop you for no reason....my appt got messed up..on purpose...and I was dropped...he told me he would always side with that office manager...not a professional way of treating patients.

Two months ago, I was referred to Dr Kirby, but because I left his care w/o being discharged he wouldn’t take me back as a patient. I’m ok with that. The problem is no one would return my calls. I had to wait a month to find out he wouldn’t accept me as a patient. I called every day. Finally my PCP called to let me know Kirby wouldn’t see me. I was a patient of Amy Pearson, so I have been out of my pain meds for over two months. I would not recommend Kirby to anyone. They dont just throw meds at y ok u and say have a great day, they actually care and want to fix the issue so you're not in pain.....

My wife is likely one of the most complex pain management cases Dr. Kirby has seen in years. He took her on and shown that he and his staff are thorough and compassionate. I called his office once with a question and he personally returned my call in less than 40 minutes. They clearly care about their patients.

He is a no nonsense kind of guy. Admirable trait, But It took me telling him to stop interrupting me and to let me finish answering the question before he attempted to turn on a bedside manner. Once it was turned on, it still wasn't good as he kept interrupting me with new question as I attempted to answer the previous one. there is more, but I am reluctant to share . Bottom line, if bedside manner, empathy, and comfort during procedures don't matter to you, Dr. Kirby is the Dr. for you

I had my first appt today with Dr. Kirby. The staff were really nice and professional. Dr. Kirby was really nice.He is a really good doctor who cares,knows his job and will help you not hurt you.

Dr. Kirby is not a warm and fuzzy doctor. How many doctors have you gone to are warm and fuzzy? Probably none. I don't expect that from any doctor. He has two PAs and one is really great and the other is very matter of fact You see them on a rotating basis and I dread it when I have to see one of them. She makes comments under her breath about what the other PA had done/prescribed, shakes her head and then prescribes the same thing the other PA did. Very unprofessional and cold.

I was referred here after a failed back surgery and diagnosis of chronic pain syndrome/laminectomy syndrome. The only good thing that came from seeing Kirby was that I received just enough hydrocodone per day to make my pain a tolerable 5 on a 10 scale. They constantly trued to push invasive procedures on me that from my research, including talking to people that had them, didn't work. I only stayed because insurance wouldn't cover leaving. I left as soon as insurance allowed! Avoid!

I would and do recommend Dr. Kirby to other people. He is one of the best doctors I go to see. Choosing Savannah Pain Management was the best thing for me. I have been very pleased with that choice.

I've been seeing him for almost 3 years and he has helped improved my quality of life where I was struggling so badly with pain. I wasn't enjoying so much that I had in the past he was also the 1st of four doctors to recognize that I had fibromyalgia after numerous specialists had misdiagnosed me allowing me to finally start being treated for this condition.

Dr. Kirby and his staff are very caring and concerned about your care making sure your visit is pleasant. The doctor cares about his patients and answers any questions you may have concerning your condition. If needed he will even jump on the computer with you to help you find out more information about your diagnosis.

Dr Kirby and his staff seem to truly care about his patients. They will go the extra mile to help you, when other doctors do not. He will sit down with you and listen to what you are saying, is always looking for any new treatment that might help. Sometimes you might have to wait to see him, but It is not due to over booking appointments like in some offices, but to the extra personalized attention that he gives you. Going to this doctor has changed my life completely! He listens to you and manages to know just what to do to help you. I was in constant pain, facing a third back surgery, and he performed a procedure that I had no clue even existed and it completely removed all the pain! It has made my quality of life one that is once more enjoyable. I would recommend him to anyone!
