Worst medical care provider I've ever encountered. He was still on probation for substance abuse when another doctor recommended him to me (didn't know he was on probation at the time). I filed a complaint with NE DHHS. He had months to respond. He responded with denial ONE day before his deadline to respond. My case was dismissed. He had a second chance to come clean, but today he is once again in the news for buying back opiates and painkillers from a patient he prescribed them to. Hope he doesn't get any more chances. He is the worst, how can a Dr get into trouble with drugs, and be able to go back cutting on people and permanently disfigure them. He should be in prison as far as I’m concerned

My experience in his office was terrible!!!! I wasn't the only one that left frustrated due to him and his staff.

Excellent doctor, I've had numerous surgeries with dr. Hughes never a problem

I had a surgery in this year. I would say all in all the best foot doctor I have ever been to. Very professional doctor. I have recommend all my family and friends to him.

I have been to Dr. Hughes several times over the last 20 years and he has always been awesome to work with. I ended up getting surgeries done, one on each ankle and I am extremely satisfied with the results. I have never had any issues with him or his work!

Dr. Hughes is a horrible doctor. He did surgery on my foot for a lisfranc foot fracture. He put pins in my foot and the following day I was in such terrible pain that I had to break the cast off myself. The pins were put in the wrong place in my foot. I went to another surgeon who had to repair the damage Hughes had done. The second doctor had to not only use pins, but also a plate. He also did a bone graft on the foot. Hughes has lost his license not once, but twice for substance abuse! Dr. Hughes is a horrible doctor. He did surgery on my foot for a lisfranc foot fracture. I went to see Dr. Hughes a few times. He first did a surgery and removed hardware from my ankle. He reviewed my ankle and told me what he had done. He told me that they had drilled holes bigger in my bones to put different hardware in. He then told me that the bones started to break so he was not able to finish. There was not supposed to be any hardware put in at all everything was suppose to be taken out. This upset me very much. Then he had given me a cordizone shot a few months later. The first one I got was fine he second cordizone shot I got was 3 months later. Dr. Hughes hasd forced it into my ankle and said that he had to push so hard because of all the fluid. I couldnt walk out of the office and for the next few weeks sever pain. Im so disappointed with this office. We looked him up and found out he lost his license in 2006.
