My mom recently began having health issues and her cardiologist referred her to Dr. Lynn since she specializes in Rheumatoid issues. Any one who knows about this condition knows it can be extremely painful. About a week after the referral was sent, I called to get info on how long it typically takes, what to expect, etc...the lady on the phone was very nice, she explained the process for new patient referrals. She said it typically takes about two weeks. I called back after two weeks and was told the insurance was approved and it was on Dr. Lynn's desk for review. I explained that my mom was in constant pain that is effecting her sleeping, eating, and everyday life. She sleeps maybe two hours a day, had lost about 8 pounds, and we were desperate. She is almost 80 years old. She said she would see what she could do. We waited weeks and never heard anything. I called and was told the referral was denied, and the denial was returned to mom's cardiologist. Mom's cardiologist never received the denial so her cardiologist's office called and asked to have it faxed over. Dr. Lynn's office could not tell me the reason for the denial. When her cardiologist received the form, there was no reason given for the denial and now after weeks we have to start all over again with finding a specialist. I will never recommend Dr. Kathy Lynn LLC. She may be a good doctor, but the communication in this office is lacking.

Office staff is very rude!!!

She is a thorough doctor, but when I asked her about possible side effects of a medication, she was very unprofessional in her answer. Asked if I should dc meds after being diagnosed with flu and she sent me a very unpleasant answer almost like saying you should already know the answer. Dr. Lynn saved me from lupus in 1997, and she has become a dear friend. I find everything about her and her practice to be absolutely first class.

Dr Lynn and staff have always been very kind and helpful to me. She always has the best interest for me both physically and emotionally. Thank you Dr Lynn!

If I could leave a negative number I would. This has been the worst experience I have had at a doctors office. The staff is completely incompetent and rude to you. They never follow up with you and never actually give you answers. Dr. Lynn has completely wasted my time by completing a full history that was already in record and lab work that was unnecessary. I agree 100% with another review here if I could give a negative number I would. This has been an awful experience. She is cold and comes across completely uncaring. She rattled off an extensive questionnaire on my entire history like an hour long script while documenting on her laptop, never making eye contact and shutting down any questions I tried to ask. She then shuffled me down the hall to pick up test scrips saying she had no time for talk she had another person to see. I was floored. I thought I had googled 4.5 stars on her but I see here no way I must have googled another Kathy Lynn. Dr. Lynn was great. When my UC flared up and made the joints in my hand turn to mush. I couldn't even hold an expo marker! Dr. Lynn fixed me right up.

I tried calling, staff are very rude and pathetic. Dr. Lynn needs a better team. Clean house Dr. Lynn if you want to be prosperous...

Unprofessional when I spoke to staff on phone. Clearly heard the phone hang up and laughing before I could even tell her what I was needing. When I called back she said that they were having phone issues.....again I clearly heard the receiver hit. Then she said we couldn't be referred because my daughter was under the age of 18 and to call my primary doctor back. Isn't that something they should have told my primary's office when they were giving my daughter's information? Very frustrating trying to even get the staff member that answered the phone to listen. She was more interested in getting back into her conversation that she was having with coworkers and it showed. Would not consider this office because of the lack of interest in helping a potential patient! I am a nurse myself and love to have fun at work, but when it's time to work then that's what you do!! The staff member I spoke with was very rude, unprofessionial, didn't listen to me, and refused to let me speak to a person in higher rank.

Will only give 1 star because i can't comment other wise . i have tried since December 2019 to see this dr . i called and staff was absolutely rude after knowing my insurance didnt need a referral the staff told me i still needed one . I saw Dr. Lynn initially in 2016 and she seemed very thorough telling me I had 4 types of arthritis. She basically did nothing but refer me out for a bone cyst. She discharged me saying return as needed. Now that I need her for increased flare ups she refuses to see me with no reason given. Her staff is horrible. Dr Lynn’s office called after a month of receiving my referral. Did not introduce who was calling I had to ask . When I asked who was speaking she would only give me “dr Lynn’s office “. I’m choosing not to go to this office due to how rude the lady was that called. She seemed very irritated with me asking her questions .

She's thorough, competent , intelligent and kind. I've been under her care for about 30 years. So, I know what I'm talking about. Dr. Lynn has been "johnny on the spot" on at least 2 occasions, probably more, getting me unto needed specialties , that were very important in my care. She has worked with me throughout the years to make sure my quality of life is as great as possible....that has meant medication changes, lab work and talking to figure out what to do next. I'm 61, I have rheumatoid arthritis, and because of Dr. Lynn's care, I have a full life. There's no one better. She's thorough, competent , intelligent and kind. Dr. Lynn is an excellent physician and has been my RA doctor for over 20 years. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. She always answers my questions and addresses any concerns. I actually enjoy going to see her and most importantly I trust her. She tells you her honest opinion and doesn’t rush in and out. Would highly recommend her to anyone needing a great doctor.

Very pleased with the treatment I have received. Very professional atmosphere over the past 15 plus years. Highly recommended.

I have been in treatment for RA with Dr. Lynn since 1997 (23 yrs). She is a very observing physician and points out what I myself might have overlooked. She takes the time to make sure, I, as a patient understand all relevant issues. As another reviewer pointed out, I concur, I look forward to my visits.

I have been so in need of seeing a Rheumatologist and because of such good reviews I was insistent about seeing Dr Lynn. After being on a waiting list to see her for 2 and 1/2 years and calling every 3 to 6 months to get an update on where I was at on the waiting list, my referring Doctor was informed that Dr Lynn was no longer accepting new Medicare patients. That’s 2 and 1/2 years that I have suffered and had to go to the emergency room on many occasions to get relief for when my back went out and feet were swollen to the point I couldn’t walk. What Doctors office leaves a patient waiting for that long in pain to end up telling them they aren’t accepting their insurance anymore? By the way I waited this long because all the other Rheumatologist in Middle Georgia have mixed and less than stellar reviews. I’m sure this Review won’t bother her practice in the least. But what a disappointment and not a fair, courteous or caring way to treat a new patient who is in pain and has been calling regularly for updates over that 2 and 1/2 years of waiting. Wonderful doctor

I absolutely love her!! She is very nice and truly cares about her patient. She will do what it takes to get you feeling better. If you are searching for meds you do not need you are in the wrong place. That is a good thing. She is top knotch!!

Dr. Lynn does know her her diseases and treatments. When she was suggesting my beginning treatments she gave me a list, suggested I look them up to check them out and go over them with my primary. I have had meds pulled on the recommendation of an eye doctor, also upon my request. She did not quibble, just started working on the next step of treatments. Dr. Lynn feels like she is very important part of everything going on and wants to know and will request reports from the most minor of situations. There is virtually no wait time to see her, a whole visit can last less than 30 minutes. She really is a bit strange however and there is no time for questions, unless of course there are problems that only she needs to handle. During a visit (every 3 months)she will have general conversations but when she’s done - she is done, picks up her computer and walks out, even if you are talking. “Remember to stop by the lab.“ One must MUST have a good primary and not rely on just Dr. Lynn.

Been a patient for 4+ years. Very satisfied with the care she gives, her attention to details.

Lack of care and concern is an understatement. She minimized every single verified symptom I’ve had. I would never recommend her to anyone.

My rating is not on the dr due to I have been on the waiting list to just get an appointment maybe made for over 6 months! I’m disappointed that it took this long and me having to keep calling for someone to inform me I might should find another dr being they where not booking new appointments right now! People with health conditions shouldn’t have to wait that long to know that that’s what they might need to do? Lupus is serious it doesn’t wait! Not made upset that one answering the phone about appointments could have been a lot nicer and not so rude about it! I loved Dr. Lynn and her staff. They were all friendly, thorough and spent a lot of time with me. Very happy to have been able to find her.

Caring, compassionate, patient centered doctor. She spends a great deal of time with me during each appointment and is very knowledgeable in her field of practice.

Dr.Lynn has always treated me with compassion! She treats me with respect and is extremely thorough! She will not stop until she has all symptoms under pain control! I cannot thank her and her staff enough!!

This woman "lectured" me about canceling an appointment while sitting in her office with a headache. She tried to treat me for a condition I had no signs of and didn't even look into the condition that bloodwork was pointing to. And when I finally had enough, I asked for a blood test and her office staff claimed it was normal. The very next week at my doctor, all my levels were elevated. It's like magic. Dr Lynn is the best. She is knowledgeable, gives a thorough exam, and truly cares about your diagnosis and pain level. She explains everything about your treatment and goals in lay terms and is patient to take your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Lynn

I met Dr. Lynn in 2006, she was so nice, cared about me, listen to every question i had, I wasn't rushed, she asked me questions about myself. She genuinely cared about me. I felt comfortable with her. She keeps up with my meds, procedure, everything that pertains to me.

Very thorough doctor. However,dr would not talk to us on the phone. Would not return our phone call. Had to make an appointment to see her again. Then she acted disgusted that we came in to see her. But we still had more questions that needed answers.

I think she is a good doctor, if she would stop trying to impress and get down to doctoring. I don't want to talk about politics, religion, hunting, etc. I want to talk about me and my health issues. If you want a one on one doctor who will look you in the face and tell you what is going on in your body, you need to find another one.

If I could give a negative number I would. I have to take my Mom to Dr. Lynn's office for her to be seen for her rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. And doctor wise she is ok. But her bedside manner and office personnel are absolutely horrible. I had to reschedule an appointment due to my Mom being in the hospital when she had a scheduled appointment. The next visit I took her to, Dr. Lynn had my mom in tears. Asking, "you need to decide if you want me to care for you at all due to a missed appointment. " I explained to her that Mama was in the hospital and I was unaware till the day of the appointment, that she had one. I have also tried to take some paperwork by and requested that Dr. Lynn complete and that I would pick up at the next appointment which was 3 weeks away. The office staff indicated that I would have to make an appointment to leave the paperwork. It's really a shame that they seem to have NO compassion for their patient. I have spoke to my Mom about how she feels about going to this doctor and if she minds if I try to get her in with another reumatologist and she said that would be fine because Dr. Lynn scares her a little. I was very impressed by her experience an manner in dealing with ny sons problem. She knew what test to run and telling us shere ti go next. She explained an answered as nany questions as possible. Dr. Lynn is great. She knows her stuff and cares about me as an individual as well as a patient. I understand how some people might be put off by the rigidity of the office staff and Dr. Lynn's no nonsense approach to medicine, but she is a caring doctor who likes to keep on schedule and I appreciate not having to wait hours to get in to see her. So If you are looking for a doctor who will give you the best possible care and don't need to be coddled, then Dr. Lynn is the doctor for you. Dr. Lynn is great. I have been using Dr. Lynn since April of 2001. Her treatment of my rheumatoid arthritis is the reason I am doing so well today. Without her expertise I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even be able to walk today. I am 43 years old and thankfully I am still teaching 5th graders thanks to Dr. Lynn's great care.

Dr. Kathy Lynn is an absolutely wonderful doctor who has treated me ever since she has been in practice. She is very knowledgeable and near genius level. I have very complex health issues, and she addresses them all. Would never change doctors.
