Dr. Kathryn Elise Coan

Dr Coan is one of the best surgeons in Phoenix. She took extra time out of her day, multiple times, to answer my questions about the procedure and help me fully understand. Not many surgeons do that! My scar is barely noticeable and there were no complications fortunately. Dr. Coan is very skilled and I would recommend her to anyone.

If I could give her 10 stars I would. Shes the best and very personable. You don't find many Doctors like her anywhere. She put my mind at ease. Shes very positive and knowledgable. Im so happy I found her!!!

From the first visit with Dr. Coan until I was discharged from the hospital my experience with Dr. Coan, the anesthesiologist, the nurses and support staff was amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr. Coan's explanation of my upcoming thyroidectomy was thorough and was reassuring that she would take the utmost care to make sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend her if you need this kind of surgery.

Dr Coan is a great surgeon! She listens to you and she's friendly, she explains the procedure with you. She's down to earth, if you ever have any questions before or after surgery she'll help. The surgery went great and there wasn't any complications after she removed my parathyroid adenoma and life has been great since. I wish more doctors followed her bed side manner. Highly Recommend. A great Dr and staff treated me with kindness at St Joe's in Phoenix. I had a huge goiter removed. She had it analyzed and notified me that it was not cancerous but that the right side was too large and should come out. She is knowledgeable, caring and has a great staff working with her: other Drs, nurses, techs were all friendly and kind. What an amazing Doctor. So caring and compassionate. Her high energy and positive attitude gave me the confidence I needed to go through with the surgery I had postponed too long to have part of my thyroid removed. Dr. Coan listens to patient concerns, gives all the options, is very informative then is not pushy or judgmental about the patients decision. Dr Coan is respectful of the patients time and so caring about the patient's well being as a whole. Dr. Coan's assistant Sandra is also amazing!! I felt cared about throughout the whole process. From first appointment to post op calls I was well taken care of! Thank you to both of you.

Wonderful doctor! Great bedside manner, very thorough and knowledgeable. I recently had an adrenalectomy and the surgery went even better than predicted. Would highly recommend!
