Kathleen Marie Brennan

Upon meeting Dr. Brennan, I was immediately put at ease and could tell that I was in good hands. She spent over an hour with me in our initial consultation addressing my many questions and outlining a plan of action. She was forthright in setting expectations while being empathetic and compassionate. Because of Dr. Brennan’s thorough and detailed approach, she was able to quickly identify my precise infertility issue, which other doctors failed to do. She was the lead surgeon for my salpingectomy and led me through a successful IVF cycle immediately thereafter. While the journey was not always easy, Dr. Brennan and her staff were always attentive, kind, and patient. She has my highest recommendation.

I still get so angry thinking about how demeaned I felt and the way she snapped at me at a vulnerable time. Based on my experience, I believe that UCLA doctors could use some more training (and compassion).

Dr Brennan is a very bright physician who is up to date on the most recent studies. However, I found her to be very conservative in her management - ordering tests that other similar specialists may have considered "overkill." I also found her heavy handed with procedures- the HSG was one of the most traumatizing experiences (when I was told I would just experience "cramping"). I have had 4 embs- the one that she performed was by far the most painful. I even found her ultrasounds painful.

Dr. Brennan is excellent at what she does! I highly recommend her to anyone who is going through infertility, she is extremely caring, thorough and detail orientated. We did IVF which can be a long and stressful process, but made so much better with her support through every step. We are so grateful to her for everything she did to help us with our dream of starting a family.

Compassionate, diligent, and knowledgeable. Dr. Brennan truly cares about her patients and their success. She goes above and beyond to ensure confidence and comfort throughout the entire process.
