After two physicians referrals still denied receptionist nice the senior person she transferred me to yelled at me said we have been on the phone with you long enough and slammed the phone down I was on the phone with her less than two minutes!

Dr. Moretz has very poor bedside manner. She was rude to my child and to me. I am an educated person with a PhD in a health field related to neurology and I had more answers than Dr. Moretz or her NP regarding my child's issues. Recently called to schedule a follow up and office staff was beyond rude and unhelpful. I do not get easily frustrated and was willing to give multiple chances to this practice but I am done now.

She’s knowledgeable & an expert at her practice. Great experience with Dr. Moretz. I would definitely recommend her.

She did a wonderful job for our family! Great bedside manner and she is the best of the best! Highly recommend Dr. Moretz!!

My daughter was seen at her pediatricians office with difficulty walking, personality changes, dizziness and other things on a Oct 17. My pediatrician did an urgent referral to neuro which would be Dr. Moretz and her office, but being she is the only pediatric neurologist my daughter would have been seeing her. On Tuesday my pediatrician called me and told me that their office would not see her until the middle or end of Novement for a STAT referral. Even after being told everything that was going on with my daughter. We ended up being seen same day in Augusta and was dx with a brain tumor and had brain surgery that friday. I want to say thank you for denying my daughters urgent referral. If we would have waited on you things would've continued to worsen and who knows what would have happened. Either find more doctors or figure out a way to get STAT referrals in at least within 5 days! If it was possible to give 0 Stars , I would give none. Worse Dr. ever. She doesn't listen to any concerns , doesn't answer questions, and frankly is very arrogant. She is more concerned about her hair then the child .I really wonder ,why this woman took on the job of a Children Neurologist.

Over two years later and I am still waiting on her call back about my son's being seizure free for 18 months. This lady is more concerned about her hair as the well being of a child. Would never bring my child there again.

Horrible. If I could give zero stars I would! Do not go to her. She does not listen. She only gave us one option for meds. Which we did not want to switch. My daughter is a year and a half seizure free on Tranxene! Why switch her meds. Didn’t even want to do an eeg to see if she was still having seizure activity. We went to her old dr and guess what. Zero seizure activity! This lady accused me of giving my daughter a bottle of wine daily with giving her Tranxene 3.75 mg. There are zero side effects. Does not make her hyper or super calm. I love this medicine. And Moretz refused to do anything about it. She said you can go somewhere else! She made this mama cry in the office begging for a med that does not cause all the side effects that make your hair fall out like Lemictal and she’s allergic to keppra which has horrible side effects and trileptal! Not focused on patient care at all. Not friendly. Horrible and mean with her choice of words. Very unprofessional. Like I get if you’re uncomfortable, but that’s not my fault or my daughters fault. From a medical professional my self with over 20 years in EMS (Emergency Medical Service) would not recommend this doctor to any caring parent who wants to have their child seen in a timely manner or who wants a professional to assess their child. Due not blow parents off Dr. Moretz! Your not God! SHOULD YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ON HOW TO BE A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL , CALL ME!

If you know or suspect your child may have PANDAS/PANS/basal ganglia encephalitis do NOT take them to her. She refuses to listen or allow for the medical world to progress.

My 2 son was diagnosed with seizures last year . Every single time that we try to get him in, they cannot provide us an appointment with the actual doctor, it’s always a np. The NP’s always seem shocked because his seizures haven’t stopped however it’s frustrating that anytime we come in for an appointment they all have totally different opinions about the seizures and opt to switch up his meds. He’s a baby. We want a solid plan by a physician who cares. The front office people will lie and state that they don’t know who made certain appointments, however i work in healthcare! I worked for the same branch of hospital! Last time i checked the system tells who made the appointment and the time. They make appointments for us without notifying us of appointments. Today we found out we have an appointment in July and no one ever told us. In the past he’s “had several” missed appointments due to us not even being notified that they were scheduled in the first place. Does not take time out to see the patient is always pushing the patient off on her nurse practitioner

My son has been seen by this office for 7yrs. At first, we always saw Dr Moretz but my son is being pushed off on a nurse practitioner for the last few years. It's annoying that all they want to do is push medications on these young children. U ask for different options, they give u more meds. I've BEEN telling them I want to try a different route but the practitioner keeps saying--oh let's try this first, let's try that. NO!! I don't want to fill my child's body with these unnecessary chemicals anymore because they aren't even stopping his seizures. Do they even care about these kids?? I think Dr. Moretz is the best. She has cared for my child for three years. She is a dedicated physician and a fine person. My child loves her and so do I.

Dr Moretz is very caring and thorough in her evaluations. She has seen and evaluated, and continues to see my 5 year old son since he was 18 months old. He was diagnosed with autism at 18 months old, and with her help and guidance, he has made leaps and bounds of progress. I also took my baby to her when he was having seizures, and now he is a happy, healthy 1 year old with zero seizures. Do not let these bad reviews deter you, because she is awesome! I am from Douglas, GA and drive up to Savannah every 6 months to take my son.’

We love Dr. Moretz and her team. We thank God everyday for her. Her passion and love for her patients glows. She lights up the room when she walks in and no matter how bad things are she works and works until she gets the problem handled. So blessed thank you for everything. Poor customer service, over charged, rude staff and poor physician bed side manner. We walked out with as many questions as when we walked in with. And what makes me personally mad is the lack of them trying to make the situation right for their poor follow through. The lack of care from this doctor and this office is sad! Take your child to another pediatric neurologist if possible because the standard of care is poor.

Dr Moretz is unprofessional and is not above practicing patient abandonment if she is annoyed. She is not thorough in reading patient chart notes, and not curious about getting to a definitive diagnosis before prescribing medication that may not be appropriate. She made clinical decisions based on the superficial reports of my child over the information and concerns shared by me as a parent. Should not be working with children or their parents.

Dr. Moretz is quite a terrible doctor. My son has a seizure disorder and when trying to contact Dr. Moretz about a course of treatment, WHEN the office even bothers to call us back, it has always been at least 6-8 hours later. She will not show true concern about your child's condition she will just keep prescribing medicines over and over without thought. Had we kept my son under her care sadly he probably would have ended up having mental retardation. Absolutely horrible horrible doctor.
