Dr. Katharine M. Woessner

Dr. Woessner is nice and easy to talk to. But her office will tell you they got pre-approval or pre-determination for a treatment but won't actually get it from the health insurance company and you'll pay out of pocket. Cost me thousands. Very dissapointed.

Contrary to what her Scripps Physician page says, Dr. Woessner does NOT deal with mast cell disorders. This misleading information needs to be taken down immediately.

I have been very impressed with the level of care Dr. Woessner has provided me the last several months. She spends a lot of time asking questions and listening. She explains action steps very clearly and always providing a copy of the instructions in writing. What sets her apart from other Doctors I’ve worked with is her interest and attention to me as an individual. As a singer, inhalers have been problematic for me and when possible, she finds an alternate solution explaining why it is better.

Dr Woessner has treated my son and me for over 13 years. She has also treated my daugther of and on. Both my son and I have seen reduction in allergies and don't need regular medications any longer. She is compassionate, very knowledgable, takes time to explain, professional, on time and has a heart of gold. Over the years we could travel with my son's condition without concern as she gave us good guidence on medications to carry in case of need. Great staff.
