Karuna Ahuja

Dr. Abuja spent so much time with me, investigating all aspects of my health in relation to my breathing difficulties. She has even called me at 6:30 pm when I had a quickly developing wheeze and prescribed medication to halt it. I think she is thorough and kind; I feel very fortunate to have found her.

Dr. Ahuja is the best lung doctor in the world in my opinion.I call her my guardian angel.She is very dedicated to her work and cares for her patients tremendously.I thank God everyday for her and pray for her safety.

This is the worst doctor I have ever had. She has no bedside manner. Didn't care about me at all. I called the office 3 times to schedule a follow up and they never called back. Waited in public waiting room for over 1hr, no one kept us informed until I started to complain then shoved into a patient room, where we waited for another hr. Going on 2hrs and still no dr.?!!! Staff were unsympathetic and curt, merely stating they were short staffed. Terrible...in times of covid delta variant surging the elderly should not be put thru this!!!

Dr. Ahuja has been my Pulmonary Doctor for the last year in half. i been very happy with her. Up to now i will rcommend her. I will see if she will be my cardiologist, since my cardiologist of twenty years has retired.

I had the breathing test done today. She explained everything very good. Very friendly. I marked how easy it was to get an appointment but took 3 months for a reschedule. I do understand what happened. It was very pleasant experience today. And as always the ladies that check you out ae great!

Only doctor that truly found out reason for my asthma and lack of energy. I like that she listens with her heart, rather than just her ears.

Had my first visit with Dr. Abuja and was very pleased with it. Her staff was very nice and treated me as if I’d been a long standing patient. Dr. Ahuja came in, lowered her mask for a second (COVID) so that I could physically/personally meet her and she asked me to do the same thing so that she could meet me. That was a win win for me. From then on she was very thorough with my condition (pulmonary) and explained in detail her plans of treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Ahuja as a pulmonologist.

I love Dr. Karuna Ahuja. She is truly so sweet and caring. The staff at the Orange City office make you feel like a family. Beautiful work environment and even more beautiful staff that they have working there.

I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Ahuja she is such an amazing doctor and cares about all of her patients. If you are located near Orange City or Lake Mary you have to see her! You will not be disappointed.

The logistics, such as communications with the insurance companies, patients, doctors offices staff, and the doctor are all but non-existent. They used the excuse that the insurance company was dragging their feet, however, upon calling the insurance people, they said the Dr.s office never called for an authorization for the test they ordered. There are other posts about the Orange City office staff, but this was at their Lake Mary location. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Your blood pressure will love it. The functioning of this office is as everyone was new there.

I have gone to Doctor Ahuja for years. She is very knowledge and cares about her patience’s. She goes into detail about your condition and the treatment you will be receiving. My wife and I both know she is one of the best. I would recommend her to anyone with pulmonary problems. She spends quality time with you. Thank you Dr Ahuja.

Good doctor ... but as others have noted, absolutely horrible staff in the Orange City office. Changing doctors because of it.

I was referred to Dr Ahuja for Pulmonolgy care. Dr Ahuja advised that I should start taking Xolair injections to assist me with my asthma. First issue when I went in for my appointment to began taking the injections the person (Alicia) administering the injecttions had no clue on what the shot was she advised she just gives the shot. Secondly after finally getting the shots I began to experience a side affect and when I called to ask what can I do the Dr referred to go seek another physician.

I love Dr Ahuja and I’ll continue to go here because of her, but the Orange City front office staff is the rudest staff I have ever seen.There is a sign on the reception window that says “do not knock on glass do not slide open window.”I understand why people feel they need to. I stood there for 3 minutes and none of the 5 people at the desks looked up.One girl was playing on her phone.I moved to the other window-same thing.I don’t know how they keep their jobs. But Dr Ahuja is awesome.

I have worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years in that time I have interacted with many clinicians none of which showed the expertise and caring as Dr. Ahuja. She takes her time with her patients looking to solve issues that may not be under her purview to guide them to achieve better health. She is proficient in her specialty and communication going above and beyond expectations. In addition, I found her staff a mirror image of her compassion and understanding.

Worst doctors office I've ever been to. Office staff can really make or break a doctor, the customer service here is very poor. When you call to schedule an appointment be prepared to be met with an attitude and even be hung up on.... when you show up for the appointment expect to be ignored because they are too busy talking to each other and playing on their phones... expect to have your information switched with another patient's and not receive a phone call that they cancelled your appointmen
