I had been seeing a Podiatrist in the Sturgeon Lake area for a number of years. The treatment was not working and the pain was not going away. He even performed a unnecessary operation on my right feet. So I finally smartened up and looked for the best. Luckily I found her, Kari Prescott. I got an appointment right a away. After seeing Kari, she prescribed a new medication, to me. And after just a short period of time, I started to feel things like the carpeting under my feet again. Unfortunately, I am one of the 50% who's Peripheral Neuropathy can not explained as to why or if it will ever go away. But without the help of Doctor Prescott, I would have still been treated by this doctor up in Sturgeon Lake & may have never had the ability to feel or walk again without pain. Dr. Prescott listened to my foot problems and suggested several possible options. Some of these were simple things I could do on my own. If my feet continued to get worse, there were surgical solutions. Unlike an orthopedic surgeon I visited, she didn’t dismiss me because I was not a candidate for a his particular surgical intervention. She spent time on each issue and pointed out some rather important things that I had not considered. Among other things, for instance, Dr. Prescott pulled out the typical shoe-store measuring device and demonstrated that my foot was a half size larger than it had been before. The size was increasing due to age and a lot of activity on my feet, which then resulted in more toe-nail damage and toe compression inside my shoes. The orthopedic surgeon, in contrast, just ignored my toe complaints. Dr. Prescott has her own private practice. Especially if you are looking for a second opinion, this independence is very helpful.

Had went to a different clinic/doctor for an ingrown toe nail that I had to schedule for one week out and and didn't even complete removing the ingrown nail... Called Kari Prescott DPM this morning and had an appointment by noon and was able to complete the job, with little to no pain. I had through two surgeries - one for each foot - with Dr. Prescott, 2 months apart between October and December 2019. I couldn't be happier with the care, communication, and results I received from her and her team. I recommend her very highly.

I just saw Dr. Prescott for the first time, and I was very impressed. I felt that she was very knowledgeable in every area from natural remedies to surgery. Great doctor

I would strongly recommend Dr. Prescott for relief of foot pain--pain I have suffered with over the past ten years. She is adept, professional, and compassionate with a great sense of humor--all critical traits for a doctor I choose. And Kathy, office manager, is a true bonus in making patients feel important and very comfortable. I treasure them both and am so glad I discovered them! An ingrown toenail isn’t typically something you brag about, but I haven’t been able to stop telling my friends and family about the incredible experience I had at Dr. Kari Prescott’s office. People don’t believe me when I tell them that the procedure was virtually painless. Dr. Prescott warned me that the numbing shots may be painful, but she was so skilled at injecting that I hardly felt them. Recovery was fast and painless as well. The entire experience was awesome from the friendly nurse who got me started to a doctor who is not only great at her job, but it is clear that she loves what she does. 10/10, 5 stars, will continue to recommend. Dr. Prescott is a pleasant blend of professionalism and approachable human. She knows her business and is straightforward and relatable. She performed hammer toe surgery on one of my feet in December 2016, and the procedure and follow up were fantastic. I'm having some issues with my other foot and didn't hesitate to call for a new consult.

Pretty awesome. Dealing with the same problem for 10 years. Seen her and feel great 6 months later.
