I went to Sr. Luther as a result of dealing with severe plantar fascitis for years. Dr. Luther was friendly and explained my treatment each step of the way. She was supportive...until she wasn't. After exhausting most treatment options, Dr. Luther suggested surgery. After days of my entire leg being numb following surgery, Dr. Luther called the anesthesiologist who said it could take 28 days for the anesthesia to wear off. It took months! Half my toes are numb and have been since the surgery. I have a searing pain in the back of my knee because the anesthesiologist did not do the nerve block properly. I felt like I was walking on a board for months. Dr. Luther did nothing. I finally went to physical therapy. My therapist said I had significant scar tussue in my foot as a result of the surgery. It took MONTHS to breakdown the scar tissue. Months to undo some of the damage to my foot. Even after months of pt, I still have searing pain in my leg. I experience severe cramps in my foot that actually bend my toes and pull them backward. I can only walk for short distances. I am not able to balance on my foot. I have difficulty going down stairs. I was told by my physical therapist my foot will never recover and I likely will have numbness in part of my foot while also experiencing pain in the rest of my foot and the back of my knee. Dr. Luther noted in my chart I said I fell after surgery and caused damage to my foot. Thisnis a lie. I said I slipped. She did exrays and said no damage was done. My foot is destroyed. I will live on medication and in pain for the rest of my life.

I am so happy with my orthotics. The office was so nice and every went so smoothly. They seemed to be very organized. Highly recommend.

It’s been five months since I started seeing Dr Luther. My heel still hurts just as much now, if not more, than it did before. Orthotics took 2 months to come in, I wore them for a month & noticed no improvement. After repeated fittings, each billed with a copay, orthotics had to be sent back because they were too small. Over a month again to get them back, and I’m the one who has to call to find out if they are back and ready for pick up! Feels like an endless cycle of copays and very expensive orthotics with no relief in sight. Considering seeing a different doctor for help. This has been a lot of money for nothing. (She is very nice during appointment though.)

Dr. Luther and her staff were wonderful! She fitted me for custom orthotics and my plantar fasciitis pain is all but gone. Dr. Luther took time to explain my condition and gave me some exercises and other ideas to help with the pain in my feet. I would highly recommend Pittsburgh Family Foot Care!

I went to Dr. Luther experiencing foot pain. She fitted me with custom made Orthotics. I have been pain free and comfortable ever since. Dr. Luther was very kind and professional. Her office was bright and welcoming too. Staff was great and helpful in every aspect.

I love Dr. Luther and her medial assistants! So warm and welcoming, and very knowledgeable! Her front desk staff need a little work - the one receptionist in particular is a little snooty and unorganized. Very condescending and does not leave a good first impression of the office. But I can deal with a little rudeness from a medical secretary for a great doctor!

Helped me with getting orthotics and I no longer have pain in my feet. Great experience and nice clean office and staff. Definitely would recommend to others
