I brought my teenage daughter to Boston Childrens for a second opinion. We had really liked the neurologist at UVM Children’s but thought it would be worth having her checked out at the best. Dr. Hawash spent barely 15 minutes with us. She took a thorough history but there was almost no exam. As a PT, I have done more neuro tests in an examination than this neurologist did on my daughter. I wasn’t impressed. Definitely not worth the 3 hour drive.

Dr. Kuemmerle is exceptionally knowledgable, professional, succinct & to the point, & most importantly very positive & reassuring in her interactions! Highly recommend!

We had spent two years with other doctors, including specialists at duPont Children's hospital in Delaware. No one would diagnose our daughter, but in one appointment with Dr. Kuemmerle, she diagnosed her correctly. She helped us SO much and was kind, compassionate, and spent time getting to know our daughter. Our younger daughter had experienced great stress and worry about her older sister's health and condition and Dr. Kuemmerle took the time to comfort her and convince her she need not worry (these terrifying symptoms would subside and her sister wouldn't really stop breathing). She was such a HUGE wealth of knowledge and we don't know what we would do without her. She is so great!

Dr. Hawash is excellent in her knowledge, communication and patient understanding. She is a very caring doctor who successfully helped my daughter through a concussion of long duration.

Dr. Hawash misdiagnosed my son after going back and fourth to the office several times. On top of it would not return phone calls from another one of my sons Doctors or even my calls regarding my son. I took him to another doctor who spent the time with us and gave him the proper diagnosis.

Dr Hawash is very knowledgable but was very cold to my daughter. Also, there was no followup after the appointment, despite a scheduled call.

Left confused about my child's condition, seems occupied with other calls during appointment, not enough time spent, abruptive
