I tried her counseling services for several months. I kept hoping that eventually they would help me but they never did. She seemed unprepared for our sesions and there never seemed to be any progression throughout the sessions. I usually left the sessions feeling worse. Finally I took the initiative to try counseling with someone else. I'm glad I did.
I have ADHD and some pretty sever anxiety issues. I once told her about how much trouble I was having reading because I coudn't focus, and it was making me depressed. She blatantly just told me that some people can't even read at all and I should be glad that I can at least read. . . she said all this like I had done something wrong by telling her what I was going through. Plus all of her counseling based around "self help". If I really thought I could help help myself, I wouldn't need you lady
