Dr. McNamar came to assess my pediatric son, his medical opinion was to drain the an abscess in the back of my sons throat. He numbed it and came at my son with a Needle. My son was very frightened and couldn't tolerate the procedure. I advocated for something to calm him. Dr. McNamar refused to give a pediatric patient anything for the procedure. He stated that it is unsafe to give a sedative to patients. While nitrous oxide is a very safe, mild sedative that will help your child remain relax. He was then very agitated and aggressive towards my son and myself. Our Nurse advocated for my son to get something, tried to talk to Dr. McNamar with no avail. He left the room and told us that he would be sending us home. He gave my son a prescription of steroids, and stated that the next time we come he would need a CT and a surgery that is going to be more painful then what he has going on now. I felt attacked and have NEVER been treated so aggressively by a medical professional.

Completely rushed the appointment, only had yes, no, answers to my questions. Had ear wax removal and he tugged at it so abruptly that I had blood coming out of my ears as I was driving home. Worst doctor I ever had! Avoid him like the plague.
