Dr Colonese is amazing. He sure helped me to get back on my feet. He is caring ! I Will reccomend him to everyone I wish there was more then 5 stars.!!!

As always this most recent visit has been excellent. The entire staff, from Reception to Radiology to the clinical staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Colanese is a skilled surgeon. Besides technical expertise I especially appreciate Dr. Colanese' willingness to spend extra time explaining and answering questions.

He is very professional

I am happy with him, he has a great spirit.

Had partial knee replacement surgery 6-7-22, follow up visit after infection surgery 9-9-22. Visit was for return to work visit.

First visit with him. Very attentive and listens even when you can't think how to explain the pain . Came up with help for the pain that none of the others have even suggested. Now he has even helped us schedule my surgery and my husbands so we won't be incapacitated at the same time. Just wonderful medical practice !

Great doctor

Dr Colanese was perfect. He listens, understands and gives reasonable options. I had an ankle replacement which worked out perfect. I am now totally pain free.

Dr Colanese did a fantastic job on my knee and I experienced very little pain. His nurse Mandy was very helpful and always got back with me. They made my surgery an easier experience that I could not have thought possible.

Would recommend seeing Dr Colanese for any ortho issues. Broke my ankle was able to get into him within a few days and surgery one week later. Always answers all questions and very professional. If you need an ortho Dr go see Dr Colanese. All staff very attentive to needs or questions especially Dr Colanese nurse Mandy who is there for any issues or questions and if you need to call her she will respond immediately. Highly recommend!

My PCP recommended Dr. Colanese when I had chronic low back/hip pain. His diagnosis and plan of care were spot-on. He performed my hip replacement surgery a year ago. His staff were very helpful and responded quickly when I called with questions or concerns during recovery. After years of constant pain, I feel pain free and have regained normal mobility. I enjoy hiking and birding and can hit the trails now in comfort. I will glady return to this practice for any bone/joint issues in future. Highly recommend!

Dr Colanese offers great quality care! . I was very confident in his ability to do my knee surgery and it all went better than expected! Not much pain and I am recovering quickly. His nurse is fantastic as well and very accessible if you need something.

Everyone at the office was super nice…everything was explained well…we felt very comfortable there and Dr Colanese was awesome

Such an inviting and welcoming staff . Your appointment time is your appointment time . We did not experience any delays . Dr was thorough and explained everything . I loved that he talked to my son who was the pt and followed up with me with additional questions . Great bedside manner .

Dr. Colanese is warm, speaks clearly and easy to understand, empathetic, understanding, good surgical outcome here! Yay! Not aggressive, good people skills! Yay! I would strongly recommend Dr. Colanese to friends and family...and lastly to those that wandered to my review! Blessings my friend!

Dr Colanese was very professional and very kind. He took his time explaining my issues. He was more then happy to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend him. And I will be seeing him again.

His bedside manner is impeccable. He makes sure you understand everything before you leave.

My daughter recently saw Dr. Colanese for heel/ankle issues and we were very pleased. He is very knowledgeable and listened to what my daughter had to say. Everyone in the office was very friendly and attentive. I am surprised by the reviews saying the doctors and/or staff are rude. My family has been to Lake Shore Bone & Joint multiple times and have (fortunately) never had any unpleasant experiences. We recommend LSB&J to everyone! My first broken bone and surgery ever and I couldn't have had a better experience. Everyone was very willing to help and answered all my questions. My surgery went great and my recovery is also going very well. So thankful for Dr. Colanese and his abilities. Would definitely recommend him to anyone!

The X-Ray techs were great! The admin staff were wonderful! Megan brought me back to the exam room and she was funny and personable. Dr. Colanese was awesome! I’m not one for going to the doctors office, but Dr. Colanese and his staff were awesome! I was comfortable, and well informed by them. I was would give zero stars for this Dr and office. During Covid they don't follow rules and they have a blatant disrespect for people's health and lives in this office find another doctor there are plenty of them out there he is terrible. Room was full with no social distancing. He is very disrespectful. I see that the office would now like to talk to me, funny how your ladies behind the desk were rude and not helpful, but now because you have a bad review you want to talk. If you really cared about your patients, your office would be more respectful. Following CDC guideline for patient safety. You can reply here and we can have a discussion on a public forum. Will definitely not go back. After making an appt for my husband and telling the receptionist that I would need to see the doctor with him because he has memory issues. When we got there, I was told I couldn't go in the office. I should have just left then and not wasted 2 hours of my time.. My husband can't remember what the doctor said. I have no idea if we should continue with physical therapy or not. I don't know anything more than before we went there. Thank you for nothing. Will definitely not go back. Great doctor! Excellent manner with patients, and he did a great job with my hip replacement.

This office of specialization in bone and joint, is fantastic. Dr. Colanese, is a superb professional and knows how to guide you into a comfort zone of knowing he cares. I am convinced that the office is filled with caring staff and so try this place.

I had a tri malleolar ankle break from jet skiing this summer. We looked around for a good surgeon with lots of experience in ankles, and were happy to find Dr Colanese. Another surgeon had told me that I may not be able to run again. Dr Colanese gave us such confidence that there was a good chance I would. I’m so happy to say that 10 weeks after surgery, I was able to start jogging, and 13 weeks later, I’m running a few miles (but still being careful). I’m thankful for Dr Colanese’ skill and how far I’ve come since surgery. Im also thankful for his listening ear, as he allowed me to have some changes in the process because of some fears I had. The entire experience from beginning to end was excellent! The staff was extremely courteous, professional and efficient and thorough with all of the questions about my injury. They were able to do x-rays right there in the office, and the doctor was able to diagnose my broken foot and was extremely attentive to me and my injury. Dr Colonese is wonderful! I have been with him since February and was released today. He said 6 month healing and he was right. Staff is also very nice and if I ever need an ortho again he will be the one I would choose.

Dr Colanese is extremely polite. Very explanatory prior to my surgery. What to expect, all scenarios. Did not rush while speaking to me & welcomes any questions.
