Julie M Vose

Dr Julie vose is my husband's oncologist. 2 years ago, her and Buffett cancer center nurses saved him from stage 4 hodgkins Lymphoma. It returned in February and he needs a stem cell transplant. I know her and this hospital are doing everything they can, she definitely gets down to business and doesn't sugar coat anything. No matter what my husband's outcome I know she and the nurses at Buffett will do everything they can to keep him alive. I am forever greatful and trust she is the best in omaha!

Dr Vose has reset the life clock for me. I was given six months to live in 2004/well here I am. I had M/M. After 3 months at the transplant center; I left with hope. She was precise and direct. With my military background, her style was perfect. Thanks Dr Vose, thank you ma'am.

My husband and I drove from Denver to see Dr. Vose for a second opinion on his NHL treatment protocol. We were sorely disappointed. We sent his records and tests ahead of time; from what I could tell she hadn't reviewed them. She looked at us expectantly, rather than helping us understand what is important to know. She had literally ZERO empathy or bedside manner, and seemed rushed. She spent no more than 15 minutes with us to discuss my husband's treatment.

Very poor patient skills; doesn't really listen to questions, rapid fire fixes without letting patient inquire about options and how they are likely to affect them. She may know her stuff but she is unwilling to take the time to discuss things with her patirents.
