Dr. Patel and her whole staff are awesome. I have been going to her over 7 years and all they have been is helpful. Dr. Patel went to the ends of the earth to find out several of my health issues and she listens and truly cares about me as her patient.

I saw Dr. Patel for about 3 years for psoriatic arthritis and also recently received a letter from her ending the relationship out of the blue. I did not follow up on her request for allergy testing (I do have chronic rhinitis but if I do shots again it will be with a provider that is not 45 minutes away), so perhaps that was the problem. I'm giving 3 stars because she has great credentials and always seemed willing to answer questions, but it is an inconvenience to find a new provider so I do want to caution others. The letter itself was very confusing because it referenced a release form that was not included.

I've been seeing her for a few years now. My first Rheumatologist passed away - my second one said the same thing with every appointment. Dr. Patel went the extra mile and even thought my complaints might be something else altogether, and that was true! She ran the proper tests. She's kind, thorough, listens and cares and I have never had any problems with her staff or getting answers to my questions via phone, email or text. And I love that I can text the office!. I would recommend her to anyone 100%!.

She is the absolute best! Dr. Patel and her staff have been amazing since I started seeing them. She cares for her patients.

By far the best for autoimmune illnesses. I have even referred a friend, who agrees! I drive quite a distance to see Dr. Patel but, when you search for answers and diagnoses for 20 years or so, and no one listens..... it is nice to find a doctor who listens, believes what you are telling them, and will stop at nothing to help you get the answers you are searching for. Finally, after 2 autoimmune illnesses out of control for close to 24 years, I have answers and treatment for the illness, not just the symptoms. By far the best for autoimmune illnesses. Not organise, long wait time with response, refill not process, authorisation , insurance and billing incorrect.

Staff unprofessional and rude. Doctor appears nice but loves to prescribe medication. only good thing about this facility and physician is free parking option.

One of the worst experience ever! I got my blood tests done earlier this year, some results were abnormal. Dr Patel or the staff never called or shared the abnormal results even during my subsequent doctor visits. I happened to see this week that they were abnormal, called the office and was told to make an appointment so Dr. Patel can ‘DISCUSS’ the results. Doctors office has been sitting on my ABNORMAL test results for 9 months and now asking to pay up before they can discuss what the abnormal results mean! Completely unprofessional. Dr. Patel is an amazing immunologist. She is extremely thorough and really takes the time to listen to me and answers all of my questions. I highly recommend her to anyone who has an autoimmune or immunodeficient disease. Her staff are very responsive and helpful.

Dr. Patel is one of the sweetest physicians I have ever met. She is extremely sympathetic and responsive. I see her b/c I have 4 autoimmune diseases included a rare one that has affected my vision called NMO for short. Because that is a neurological autoimmune disease, I also must see a neurologist that sees the most NMO patients in Houston. I also see Dr. Patel b/c I have an immune deficiency which falls within her Allergy& Immunology specialty as well. For that I receive a monthly IV drip. For the NMO I receive a twice yearly dose of a chemo typically used to treat Lymphoma but which is given for NMO and other autoimmune diseases like Lupus. These are both serious conditions. Her office has gone to bat for me with my insurance company which pays the deductible after Medicare pays what it will pay. My infusions are expensive, and she has spent a great deal of time insisting that my expensive Hyquvua treatment is necessary. I recommend her highly. My own spouse is a physician. He is pleased with her care too.

She's been my rheumatologist for 2+ years now and is extremely thorough and attentive. She gradually medicates as needed and doesn't jump to conclusions with diagnoses or medications. Dr. Patel and staff are also very responsive through text, apps, and phone communications. It's been a great experience having her as a rheumatologist!

Late response to messages, billing incorrect. Not organise.

I've done a review a couple of years ago. Sometimes things change. Not with her, she is a remarkable doctor! She truly cares and listens! She remembers me and my health history. She values her patient's time too, little to no wait times. I've never had an issue with not answering the phone or follow up as someone stated. I've been seeing her for several years now. I highly recommend!!! Your the best Dr. Patel!!!

Dr. Patel and her staff are wonderful. Tried to find a doctor close to where I live and came right back to her. She really is great!!

Dr. Patel is awesome. She stuck it out with me when the insurance said no until they finally approved my treatments. Plus she was always just a messages or phone call away whenever I had questions.

I love my doctor. We've been through quite a journey for the last few years now... Our Goal is to kick UV out of my life, it's been one hell of a journey. Not there yet but, she's not giving up & for sure neither will I.

Dr. Patel is a very knowledgeable and personable doctor. That said, her office staff has become intolerable in the last year. Incoming faxes are not acknowledged and outgoing faxes are not sent. Emails and mailed communication are now rarely responded to. The phone lines are shut down long before office closing and voice mails are rarely returned. Dr. Patel will state that a script will be written as one dosage, will get the insurance co. to approve it, then somehow the script changes....

I went years with an incorrect diagnosis and she found the real problem in the first visit. I've been seeing her for 8 years now and she is the absolute best!

I was referred to Dr. Patel by an ENT, Dr. Prichard. I have been suffering with sinusitis for 12 yrs and have had 2 surgeries After the last surgery, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. My sinus congestion was severe for the last 8 yrs even with meds. The 1st office visit was great. Dr. Patel listened to my questions and concerns very attentively. After 2 months, my symptoms have lessened and I feel the best I’ve felt in over 12 yrs She is one of the most caring professionals I know.

I visited Dr. Patel one week ago due to extreme hip pain and hard to walk. She sent me to have an X-ray of my hip on Tuesday and said I may have to go to an orthopedic doctor for further testing. One week later I am still waiting on the results. I have called Dr. Patel's office EVERYDAY and have gotten the run-a-round from the receptionist! Last phone call I made was last Friday @ 10:00 am and as of today the following Monday, NO PHONE CALL!

No one picks up your call and you always have to leave a message. Also they don't do what they promise to do i.e. fax another doctor for records.

Great Doctor .... Diagnosed obscure immune issue very quickly... and put treatment plan in place immediately... Well for first time in many years...

I worried so much about finding a new rheumatologist that I would like after relocating to Houston, and also finding one that was accepting new patients. I had been with the same doctor previously for 14 years. Dr. Patel's office staff is on the ball and so friendly and helpful. Wait time was non existent the day of my appointment. Dr. Patel spent so much time with me addressing all of my questions and concerns, which I think is just unheard of with doctors nowadays. She never rushed me through my appointment so she could get to the next patient. I am so thankful to have found a wonderful doctor here in Houston!! I can't recommend her enough!! After years of misdiagnosis and doctors not caring, I finally was referred to Dr Patel. She is not quick to hand out a diagnosis and went through my medical history and TRULY listened to me! She came up with my diagnosis and began treatment. She truly cares about her patients and even cares about the patients time. There is little to no wait. I highly recommend her! Very smart doctor! We're still trying to figure out exactly what's going on, but she provided me with great testing and added in a couple of blood tests that I requested that had shown questionable numbers previously. She also provided me with a key hint that has led to a dramatic reduction in pain without resorting to drugs.
