Dr. Fisher, when I worked with her in rehab, was as clear as she was firm, as accurate as she was concise. She gave me a clear picture of the issues I faced in synopsis form, using the clear, simple language I needed to hear to understand the gravity of my situation. Her communication skills were superb. She was not clinical or cold even as she maintained the professional distance appropriate to the specific circumstances. She did not mince words. When I left her office I knew more about the critical aspects of my self that I had to address to move towards a normal life. In my opinion, you will not find a better psychiatrist in the state of New York.
