Dr. Judith F Baumhauer

Dr Baumhauer is probably pretty great at in-office visits, but I would not recommend her for bunion surgery. She used traditional methods to correct a medium sized bunion and did not use any hardware, therefore the the bunion came back almost immediately. No services were offered to correct the problem

I would have liked to meet the Dr., but after my TWELFTH CALL I gave up. HORRIBLE patient service.

Dr. Baumhauer put my fears to rest and showed me how to improve my footwear to be less painful. She operated on one foot to replace and implant and expertly performed surgery to correct the years of agony I'd been suffering. I was willing to travel here because she assured me I wouldn't need general anesthesia and she gave me twilight sleep. Dr. Baumhauer has taken great care of my foot on multiple occasions. Always professional always patient. She explains everything very clearly. She also took care of my 12 year old daughter's foot and was absolutely phenomenal with her. She puts her patients first.

very experienced, professional but most of all excellent surgeon. I have recommended her several times.

I had moved near the Rochester, Ny area and had a foot problem. She would not help me and told me if I had come to her first, she would help me. How could I if I did not live there? She also misdiagnosed the problem and I found a great surgeon in Syracuse, Ny.

The best! After having a botched surgery done on my foot, she gave me my life back. Before I saw her, I was in constant pain and couldn't even walk for short distances. After she treated me, I have no pain and I'm pretty much back to normal. She is easy to talk to also and answers all questions without making you feel rushed.

She's a very nice and competent doctor. You feel you are in good hands when you are under her care.

Dr. Baumhauer is a highly skilled foot and ankle surgeon. After having a less-than- successful Brostrom repair from a surgeon in another state, with the help of MRI images I brought and through manual manipulation, Dr. Baumhauer was able to detect subtle scar tissue that was seriously impeding the ankle's range of motion--a problem that several other surgeons post-op had overlooked. An acupuncturist eliminated that scar tissue and increased the range of motion.

Dr. Baumhauer explained everything in detail and tried the least invasive techniques before recommending surgical interventions. She is very thorough, and genuinely cares about her patients. I would recommend her to family and friends.

My feet have been operated on several times using inappropriate methods that worsened the original malformation of my pinky-toe bones causing ongoing pain. An Orthopedic Surgeon could not correct the damage. Dr. Baumhauer was honest about risks, exceptionally efficient and her corrective outcome was 100% successful. 5 years later I still have no problems with my foot. I highly recommend her and the University of Rochester - they're top notch!
