Visit with new problem. As always completely explained what was going on and what steps to take to resolve issue. The whole staff was great.

Dr. Sharma was amazing. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable.

The whole team at this office were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The Dr answered all my questions and explained everything to me.

Dr. Sharma was very thorough, explained my situation following my medical history and x-rays and spent the appropriate amount of time with me to discuss options and potential treatment plans. Dr. Sharma was relaxed, not in a hurry to rush off to another appointment, asked me more than once if I had any questions or concerns. We agreed on a plan of care moving forward. He had an excellent “bedside manner” and I would recommend him highly. In addition, the OrthoVA staff was very pleasant and friendly, performed their responsibilities with great professionalism. Dr Sharma is so kind and so patient. He always takes his time and answers all your questions. He does not rush surgery. He likes to try other options first if possible. His staff is really nice too!!!

Never in my life have I felt like more of a burden to a doctor for asking questions. I get it doctors have a lot of patients but this doctor just got so sick of me asking questions about my condition he walked out of the room without saying anything. I pay enough just to get into this place I should be able to ask the doctor questions about my problems . This doctor has no idea how to empathize with someone who was in a lot of physical pain and will look at you like your crazy or tell you “we’re going in circles” when you’re just trying to understand your own condition. Problem with my left thumb, Dr. Sharma, explain what was going on and gave us two options to treat it! Explained in a way that you understood! Dr.Sharma was very cordial and we highly recommend him!

Dr. Sharma is the most kind, compassionate and professional physician I’ve ever met. I work in healthcare and very highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable and a very skilled surgeon with a calming and kind bedside manner. He exceeded all expectations.

Dr. Sharma was personable and professional. The staff as a whole in his office were amazing.

Dr Sharma is easy to talk to, answered all of my questions at the initial consult and on the day of my procedure. I'm very pleased with his care.

Upon entering Ortho Va, I was most impressed with the efficiency of the reception staff. The professionalism continue with Dr, Sharma’s nursing staff. They were cordial and caring. In prompt fashion, Dr. Sharma entered. He was the consummate professional. He is knowledgeable and took time to explain each procedure he performed during my hand check. He also was gentle when administering the Cortisone shots to my right and left hands.

Other than the appointment being super far behind. 950 appointment and doctor didn’t show until after 11 the doctor was super knowledgeable and helpful. He listened and then suggested a few test that were scheduled on the spot and didn’t take but so much time to get in for.

100 percent pleased with Dr Sharma and associates. Very kind and listened to me.

Dr. Joy Sharma is awesome. I had a ganglion cyst that was causing me pain and I was really afraid to get it drained. Before doing any kind of procedure, he sat down with me and explained to my husband and I what the cyst actually was and the two different kinds of treatments I could have. He's pretty funny and has a great bedside manner which put me at ease. I opted to have the cyst drained as opposed to surgically removed, which would require a different type of procedure. While the draining itself was not the most pleasant thing I've been through, the kindness and care that he and his staff displayed made up for any pain I experienced. Dr. Sharma is wonderful. He did both wrists carpal tunnel surgery a few years ago and it went well. New problem brought me back. Very thorough, kind and a great bedside manner. Would highly recommend!

The only real issue was I had a 10:30 appointment and didn't see Dr. Sharma until almost 11:30.

Dr. Sharma has helped me on more than one occasion, the most recent was by far more simple than 10 years ago, but he is just as dedicated today as he was then.

Very impressed with Dr. Sharma. Very thorough, patiently described what was going on and the course of action to address it. I have a lot of confidence in him.

Dr. Sharma has an excellent bedside manner. He takes time to thoroughly diagnose all issues and prescribes the appropriate course of treatment.

I found Dr Sharma to be incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and gentle with a very painful hand problem I experienced. While minor compared to many, he had my hand problem “fixed” and had me back to normal in a day or two. He was referred by a close RN friend, and she couldn’t have handed me over to a better doctor. Thank you, both!

Dr. Sharma is a highly skilled surgeon and a compassionate human. I'm an athlete so I was very anxious about surgery and recovery but felt very safe with Dr. Sharma. Dr. Sharma is a wonderful surgeon! He explained the procedure thoroughly, the appointment was easy and organized. The surgery went off smoothly. I was well prepared, minimal pain, good after care instructions. Very pleased!

This is my second surgery by Dr Sharma. He is professional, accurate, kind, and everything went exactly as planned. He was on time for everything, not rushed or harried. My recuperation was easy and I highly recommend Dr. Sharma!

Dr. Joy V Sharma is a real nice guy and a great doctor. He told me everything I need to know about my injury. He was straight forward. He did an excellent job with my surgery. I can’t thank him enough. He told me everything I needed to know about healing it and keep it healthy. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor.

Dr. Sharma is a excellent doctor. He pays attention to detail and nowadays, that is what you want. I have no complaints at all. He took care of me in surgery and seems like he really cares about his patients. I respect him alot.

The office staff are the first people you see. They are efficient and the check in process has always been quick and easy. The waiting room is large and comfortable. The woman who called my name introduced herself and she screened me asking thorough questions about the reason I am appointment. She finished and Dr. Sharma came in very shortly. He did a thorough exam of my hands and fingers. Then he explained what he felt like was wrong. He has always gone into detail, explained why he wanted to do anything such as tests or a procedure. The procedure he did on me was for a trigger finger, I was numbed up, injected without discomfort and out the door quickly. Dr. Sharma operated on my hand a few years ago, he did a great job, the pain I had been having for years was gone and I recommend him to anyone who has problems with their hands. I love not having long wait times on my visits. Office personnel are very cordial and professional. Dr Sharma’s scribe is the first that I’ve ever had acknowledge my presence when introduced. Dr Sharma is a professional gentleman that explains procedures and takes time to explain procedures. His assistant, Jennifer leaves nothing to chance when scheduling surgeries or any other procedures. It’s a great group there.
