Dr. Joy Ware Field

Never thought I would rate a root canal five stars but here we are. I normally can’t even have a cavity filled without severe anxiety and I had to have a root canal re-done after the first one failed by a different doctor out of state. Dr Field gave me the magic combo of halcion (conscious sedative) and nitrous (laughing gas). Add in my personal ear buds with music and it immediately put me in a half-asleep-ish nap and my comfort level was so amazing. No fear at all of the drilling or shots, no pain AT ALL. I really can’t believe how easy it was. This was my second root canal and it was a totally different (in a good way) experience than my first root canal. I can’t recommend Dr. Field highly enough. She is so talented at her profession, detail oriented, caring, intelligent, honest, not in the business of making money off you just for the sake of a procedure. Dr Field even found a tiny hidden canal that my first endodontist completely missed. Super impressed all around.

Dr Field and her staff r awesome. Dr Field has the latest technology and explains everything simply so you have a complete understanding of the entire process. She puts you at ease and offers every comfort you would need. The entire staff is equally caring and efficient. You can tell they all love working there and it shows. Had the best experience! Thank you so much for everything!!

My best friends son went to Dr Fields for treatment and said it was the best experience he’s had with any sort of dr in the dental field. He’s typically terrified of doctors but said that Dr Fields put him at ease and made the experience far better than he expected. When my children need her services I’ll gladly take them to her knowing how comfortable she’s made it for other patients. A+++ experience and professionalism. Dr. Joy is simply the Best. She performed my son's first root when he was 7 after a gymnastics injury and finished his second root canal(same trauma event) this past week. We traveled from TN for her to perform the procedure. She is kind, she is thorough, she is wickedly talented. I am not sure if BEST really is a big enough word for how amazing she is. I cannot say enough great things about this office. Dr Field was incredible. My son had a root canal and everything went perfectly and he healed quickly. Everyone in the office was professional, efficient and kind. They were even able to get us in same day before we went out of town. I would highly recommend Dr. Field and this office. Sadly I needed 2 root canals this year. BUT I am so thankful my dentist Dr Nelson sent me to Dr Joy Field! From the front staff Carol and Lexi to the back staff Elizabeth, Olivia and Kathy I have received the BEST care! Dr.Field is honest, caring and very personal! Could not be happier with my experience here! Dr. Field was the absolute best! Constantly communicating what was happening and why she was doing the things she was. I’ve had more than one root canal in my life and now a few with Dr Field. She is amazing all the way around as a professional. Initial visit to follow-up after the procedure. She helps you understand all that will happen in a way that brings you comfort. She gets the job done quickly. I trust her and will recommend her to anyone in need of an Endodontics procedure. Visited Dr. Field's office for a root canal, my first. She was very thorough discussing all options available and each step of the procedure elected which reduced my anxiety. Also, very compassionate to eliminate pain from the procedure. Professional and obviously very experienced Doc. Absolutely would recommend to anyone in need.

It sounds ridiculous to say a root canal can be enjoyable, but truly, it was. I had no pain during a long, 3-hour procedure. In fact, as I was watching an episode of "Glee" on Netflix while they were working, Dr. Field and Olivia, her assistant, were singing along and I was trying to stay still while keeping time to the music! She gave such good instructions for controlling post-operative pain that i have had none.

The office staff is efficient and thorough, no long waits. Dr. Field is very thorough, and takes the time to explain what she's doing. For me, this goes a long way toward allaying any fears. She will not recommend any procedures that are not necessary. She performed a root canal on me and I did not experience any discomfort - a huge plus! I recommend her practice to all my friends.

I saw Dr. Field for a root canal that I was very nervous about. I still can't believe what a wonderful experience it was. Dr. Field was so kind and accommodating. She took time to answer all of my questions and explained things so well. I couldn't recommend her more highly. Dr. Field is extraordinary!!!

Dr Field was referred by my dentist. I've now had two root canals in the last year. The office staff set the tone with their prossionalism while still being friendly and efficient. Dr Field is extremely knowledgeable, proficient, and makes sure that she covers all aspects of the procedure. She is very detailed with post-op care and patient comfortI. I would give her more than 5 stars if that was possible.

She was marvelous.. Knowledgeable, caring. She gave good explanations about my tooth's condition and the options open to me. The root canal went very smoothly and quickly. There was no pain, even the injections were painless.

I was referred to Dr. Field from my dentist when it looked like I might need a root canal. Dr. Field examined and consulted with me about my options. I decided to go ahead with the root canal and Dr. Field performed the procedure explaining the process each step of the way. I really experienced no pain or discomfort both during and following the procedure. Two thumbs up!
