Meet with him for maybe 5 mins. looked at MRI and Xrays, left and sent nurse in to tell me that Physical therapy would take care of my severe stenosis. no physical exam. He will not respond to your emails, he just ghosts you. I am a disabled VET and I feel he is just out to get all the $ he can from the Gov. He charged over $650.00 for one office visit. I was in and out in under 1 hour.

Dr Shatsky is an awesome surgeon He did my lower back surgery 2019 no problems I just had neck surgery FUSED AWESOME JOB no problems no headache my arm hand feel so much better. I trust him with my LIFE,, if you need help with your spine HE’s THE MAN TO SEE, Shatsky has the best team, their awesome ????????????????????????❤️

I would never recommend this dr. His demeanor was so condescending, cold and uncaring. When going over my CT scan he basically said he’s seen worse and there is nothing he could do for me. Go back to pain management and PT. Truly the worst dr experience I’ve had. And since that visit I was blessed to find a competent and skilled dr who actually helped me.

I’m 2 months post spinal fusion and feel better than I have in many years. Dr Shatsky not only performed a successful fusion but he and his staff continue to be compassionate and attentive post-surgery. Thank you!!

After 20 yrs of back pain and leg numbness along with balance issues, I found Dr Shatsky. Thanks to his concern and skill I am now pain Free. Dr. Shatsky did a fusion of my L4/L5 and replaced the disk. My nerve pain was GONE post-op. It's been less than 4 months since surgery. I'm painless and up and walking my Collies daily. This Dr. Was a godsend for me. He gave me my life back!!! Thank you very much Dr. Shatsky. P.S. I'm 65 years old and I feel like 40 again!

My wife had been in pain for years. After being examined by Dr Shatsky and completing the necessary X-rays, MRI and CT Scans he was confident he could relieve her pain. He performed a triple fusion of her lower neck vertebrae. The procedure went perfect, then the 12 week recovery began and I have to say that every examination and follow up was timely and performed with exceptional care. I have friends in the orthopedic medical industry and they all highly recommended Dr Shatsky and after seeing how he cared for my wife we would highly recommend him as well. 5 Stars all the way! Dr. Shatsky is a wonderful surgeon who did a fantastic job doing surgery on my broken leg. He was also extremely supportive at every stage of my recovery. I very highly recommend Dr. Shatsky.

After being referred by my primary care physician Dr. Shatsky and his team of highly skilled health care professionals were able to resolve after carefull and thorough research issues I was having with pain radiating from my neck down my right shoulder into the nerves in my rt. hand. Dr. Shatsky successfully removed the disc between C6 and C7 replacing it with a bone block, metal plate and 2 screws. He was very precise in his research and planning and his team took a legitimate care to my health. Dr. Shatsky was able to get this done in the midst of the COVID pandemic. My surgery occured July 27, 2020 at Harrison Hospital in Bremmerton, WA. , I have had several lower back surgeries at the larger institutions in Seattle and was treated like a number not a patient. At Westsound Orthapedics I received a way more personal and professional experience. Thank You All!!!

I cannot even put into words how grateful I am for Dr. Shatsky. He is an incredibly skilled surgeon who saved my life. He diagnosed me with a herniated disc in my low back. Of course we tried to avoid surgery with Physical therapy and injections, but finally the injections stopped helping. I was to the point of constant pain, numbness and weakness in my leg/foot and I was unable to properly function at work and in my daily activities. We decided that I should have surgery and that was in July. It did take a couple weeks for my leg to return to normal since the disc had been pressing on my nerves, but I just had my last follow up and I have all my strength back, my foot doesn't go numb and I have no pain. I am back to work and can do more than I did before surgery. I will be forever grateful. I would absolutely without hesitation recommend Dr. Shatsky to my family and friends.

My sister has already gotten a surgery to correct bulging disks in her cervical spine. He was ment to fuse c5-c7 to help with her pain but only managed to c5-c6 and had complications with that disk fusing to the spinal cord. Complications happen, but when he REFUSED to order a MRI for my sister for over a YEAR; her mom ended up going with her to help demand a MRI, which he finally ordered revealing the cause for her numbness in her arms. One if the disks he missed because of complications had bulged dramatically, he let her disk just continue to bulge for a year....He has now referred her to a surgeon that is better equipped to handle her case and the new surgery she will need. BUT now he is refusing to write a letter to her insurance, and has only provided a note from her file with snide comments dripping with contempt. She has truly felt unheard, bullied, helpless, and dismissed. He continues to be problematic. Do not recommend.

Dr Shatsky seemed uninterested in helping me manage my back pain, offering no alternatives. His “attitude” was not pleasant

Dr. Shatsky is knowledgeable but does not take the time to explain things like my former back doctors.

This Doctor saw my daughter who exhibited neurological damage to her neck with numbness in her arm. He mentioned an MRI but was so impotent in his 'request' they disregarded its need. We took our daughter to OUR hospital emergency room who after viewing her symptoms, immediately ordered an MRI. She was found to have a Herniated Disk between C6 and C7 in need of Surgery. This Doctor is a pathetic example of our Medical System. Find a real, capable Physician -there is not one here

Bottom line....My experience with Dr. Shatsky was Excellent ! I finally found a Dr. that was thorough enough to match the right "fix" to the actual problem. I have the utmost confidence in his training, experience and professionalism. His smile and the friendly staff helped to make the whole process a Very Positive one. High five & Thankyou !

I was in tremendous pain, had numbness in my feet, and was unable to bend my knee replacements. I could not stand, walk, sleep, and sitting was painful. Was originally misdiagnosed by a PA, but once I got to Dr. Shatsky, everything turned around. He is a wonderful surgeon and he also fought with the insurance company to get every device and all necessary care approved. I absolutely recommend for any back surgery, especially if you need a flexible cage.

Absolutely would not recommend this Doctor. We were sent to him by our urgent care physician. He spent no more than 1 minute with my 17 y/o son. No introduction when he walked in the room, said, "you don't have compartment syndrome, I'll send in a therapist." He acted as though we were wasting his time. Come to find out that the x-ray they took would never have detected compartment syndrome. He wasted my time and my money. Awful
